I think something like 75 km/h (around 45 mph) with the street performance tyres provided by IneosThanks for comparison. What was the average speed your stats showed for the overall average fuel economy?

Damn google defaulting to US gallonsMy gallons are imperial so I think the equivalent is 10.8l/100km not 9 (9 would calculate using US gallons)
I understand and if you are happy I don’t want to mention that DaveB just found out that Google works with US gallons as defaultMy Google search made that 12.8 litres per 100km and that I’m happy with
And if someone wouldn’t mind less consumption he is in the wrong car as well?If anyone is unhappy with the fuel consumption he is in the wrong car
I certainly hope the B57 holds on to fuel consumption around the 10.5L/100km for my daily use. 14L/100km isn't viable for what I do as it would add about $50+ AUD a week to just my fuel bill which is 1/3 my weekly food bill. I want to work less these days to make living family friendly!
Everyone is unhappy with their fuel consumption because the ticketed "consumption" when the vehicle is sold is a fat lie. That and the cost of fuel!!! Even EV are expensive now with the 30% power cost rise coming this month! If anyone is unhappy with the fuel consumption he is in the wrong car
So if you are travelling 800kms a week (like I do) it will cost you an extra $50 but you can solve that by filling up at different locations and on different days of the week.I certainly hope the B57 holds on to fuel consumption around the 10.5L/100km for my daily use. 14L/100km isn't viable for what I do as it would add about $50+ AUD a week to just my fuel bill which is 1/3 my weekly food bill. Correct Dave - I drive every day and go through the kms. I am estimating this using the cheapest fuel I can find. To be fair, diesel here Dave on the coast was $1.78. They are also opening a cost-co here in the northern part of the coast to support all the lower-middle class: and so, I will take fuel from them as they will push diesel at roughly $1.58 in today's market..... so 20c a liter saving. If fuel goes back to normal (circa $1.30 for diesel) then it won't matter, but when its barking towards $2/L, then it is painful even with the best of cars.So if you are travelling 800kms a week (like I do) it will cost you an extra $50 but you can solve that by filling up at different locations and on different days of the week. Gosh that is horrific. The wifes CX5 2.5L Petrol has a lifetime 8.5L/100km after 57,000km. It does probably 50/50 highway vs town. My ute on the other hand carrying 887kg of rubble (as tared yesterday!) chews 16L/100km... emtpy its 11L/100km. My ute also has no aircond... so that is a saving!!!I'd not worry about fuel consumption too much until the engine has run up at least 7-10 thousand km. How you drive and traffic etc can vary the consumption enormously. My wife does a lot of short inner city trips. The Subaru returns 17L/100km as a result! On a long trip it averages 5.4-6.3L/100km...
Anything over 85-90km/hr in the Grenadier is going to have a heavy impact on the consumption because of the aerodynamic drag
It's standard for all vehicles operating on cold days (even in Brisbane) but only travelling a couple of kms at a time. They never reach proper operating temp. An electric car would be excellent for this type of driving. At our age, while we'd like to walk, the local hills with 7-10% grades, in several streets, carrying the groceries home there is no longer an option other than to drive.Gosh that is horrific.
