    Having no roof rack, I clamped a fold-down UHF Antenna mount to the top rung of the ladder and then ran the cable down the left side of the ladder and under the bottom of the 30% rear door. No holes were required.

    That is very different to the usual UHF mount. It looks neat. I cannot find it on the ARB website, so far - but that is not uncommon with ARB. I tried both UHF and CB bracket.

    This is my solution - but it's a lot of work to route the cables through the door and into the cabin. The upside is that my UHF reception is better than most bull bar mounted aerials with the longer mast fitted. The shorter mast makes it easier to get into the garage.

    ...price, and ease of install on the Stedi ST4K products. Light reflection off the Bonet is negligible, and being forward of the safari windows 100% nill. I do have plans to mount a UHF antenna to the Roo bar next, which may catch some light and reflect it back. Will have to try it out and see.

    Ah, I see. The diamond-shaped RAM mount has a fastener hole centre that matches the Grenadiers faux-modular trim. Those rectangular things you see there are magnetic mounts for a UHF radio handpiece and/or handheld.

    This rear mounted UHF aerial might give you some ideas. On my old Nissan Patrol I had a small LED light fitted low near the towbar. You could do the same with the INEOS and turn the light on when the car is in reverse (by wiring into the reverse circuit). I used a weather sealed Lightforce LED.

I also removed the 12V Cigarette-lighter socket in favour of an additional USB Charging (to the left of the UHF Socket in the attached photo).     Solar Panel Installation and Setup

    I have seen this and do like the extra coverage roof mounting offer. But I also run a fair bit of stuff on the roof and don't want to make it too hard getting the aerial folded up and down. I also don't mind having the aerial on the front left of the bar to use as a reference in tight spots.

    Solar panel on Rhino rack bars

    ...the same problem, so I went to Clark Rubber and got some 20mm or 25mm square rubber and wedged it in the rear bottom edge and sides of the solar panel and the wind noise disappeared. I ran the solar cable next to the raised air intake and through a firewall grommet along with the UHF coax cable.

    Roof rack better in the gutter or on the grab rails?

    Was it easy to route the uhf cable? Also, where did you mount the transceiver? Thanks Telliottaus, i was thinking the same thing, routing the antennae up near the grab bars. It would be great if someone made a bracket that could connect to the grab bar for the Antennae mount
