Hmmm very interesting... never seen or heard of these folk before,,..the football stadium 5 mins walk down the hill from us (Suncorp stadium) was the venue last Fri/Sat/Sun for Mr&Mrs Sheeran's lad Edward, who entertained 50+ thousand people for a couple of hours each night at around $120 a pop. Have to applaud the lad for his stamina. Some of the noise floated up the hill. Not exactly Kiri Te Kanawa singing Puccini but one can't have everything I suppose....
Hang on ...a pop up just appeared on the screen ...says "stand by for incoming..." wonder what that means?

I bough a cheapo external CD drive for my Macbook and converted my CDs into MP3s. I then took an old iPod and dumped all 5,500 songs on it. It connects through Bluetooth or in some vehicles, there’s a usb port than can be controlled through the infotainment unit.
Yes I use a Retrosound unit in my 67 Benz to Bluetooth stuff ; also have an mp3 USB stick
It's a bit hard finding tunes though , compared to the old days of rifling through a box of cassettes whilst driving

Shuffle all and roll with it. It’s like Forest Gumps box of chocolates-you never know what you’re going to get.

This question will derail this thread, so maybe we should reflect unto ourselves, but it must be asked - what’s the greatest album ever?
Krabby, that has got to be the best Rabbit Hole question on the forum to date!!!

Spinal Tap - Break Like The Wind

I have over 60,000 mp3 songs on my PC. I don't even know all of them.

And a few hundred CDs are on the shelf. For 20 years I've been saying to myself: "I'll make a nice library out of this once I'm retired". Now, I am retired - but I still don't have time.

I was never a real fan of Frank Zappa, too experimental for my ears, but my top "song" (not "album") is "Watermelon In Easter Hay" from Frank Zappa! I can listen 10 times after each other to it!
Almost at the same level, the following song: "The Rhythm Junks - Beaten Borders - 09. Maybe Slowly" (Belgian harmonica player - world class)

My top album, well, indeed, depends on the mood, like @DaveB said, but some top albums are:
Deep Purple - Made in Japan
Pink Floyd - Money
TC Matic (Belgian Band Rock Band, their first album of 1981)
Toots Thielemans - the Brasil Project (other deceased Belgian Harmonica player with Brazilian musicians)
Cartola - Cartola (Brazilian)
Explosions in the Sky (Texas) - almost every album
Slade - Alive

I think (according to what I read) that I will be able to play them in my Grenadier with a compatible music player (I use the Russian AIMP, magnificent!), if I download them on my Android phone, Yes I know, a Russian music player, no politics involved!
