Belstaff Jackets

The jacket in the picture is an original trialmaster jacket. It’s wax cotton and originally came with a belt.

Definitely not a thing you woukd wear on cloth seats as would make a hell of a mess.

Also it takes about two years to get it comfortable! But once you do they are awesome.

I think fabrics have come along way now so wax cotton probably outdated.
That's the point, it's retro

Should we really have to go with the jacket according to IG version, I‘d be happy to trade my fieldmaster jacket for a trialmaster if anyone should be interested.

My wife keeps telling me that I have the body of a god…….

Buddha.
My wife often says "Oh my god" when she is with me.
Mostly she is looking at me, shaking her head and hitting her palm on her forehead

That was the tipping point on my decision to go with a Fieldmaster not a Trialmaster
I prefer the Fieldmaster jacket

sometimes life offers tough choices. Would be funny if they were in the colour of the car we ordered.

as a young fella I used to live in it.
Yes, same here. Those were the days! (y)

And I bought mine in the 70s for around 120 DM, which is about 60 Euros ... but considering the inflation of course today more than that ... ;-)

The best thing was, if you had oil hands you could just wipe them on your jacket.

Yep mine was A$100 and I was 18. It was a lot of money to me then.

This picture was half way thru a 8000km round trip home for Christmas holidays.
