    Torsen is trademarked by JTEKT which is a Toyota company. There would be extra licensing costs passed on to Ineos from Carraro and Tremec to use or make the Torsen diff.

    I think Temec had a batch of bad seals. Mine was a 12/23 delivery in the US. Manufactured about 08/23. It was definitely the font output shaft seal. They only had for a day to fix it (not a big job). Can’t really blame Inoes as they buy the transfer cases from Tremec

    Petrol/Gas US Oil for B58 Engines

    ...(NVG, etc) but they use lightweight ATF instead of gear oil. I've not seen a pump or filter in a gear drive 'case. If we knew the internal layout of the Tremec used in the Grenadier it might be possible to affix a powerful magnet to the exterior that would trap shavings against the inside wall.

    Something is creating a positive flow to circulate the hot oil from the transfer case sump to the cooler in the LH wing and back to the top of the transfer case. I'll take a stab there's a small paddle pump in there somewhere.

    Having one with a bad front seal (successfully repaired), it appears these are all from around the same build time, so I’m strongly suspicious they had a bad batch of seals.. not an Ineos problem pre se, but rather a Tremec issue.

    I had the same leak. It was the front output shaft seal. Has been fixed, and totally dry ever since. Think Tremec had a bad batch of seals (mine was ~august build date)

    They will use the same engine and transmission combo as BMW does. The current box on the petrol Grenadier is only capable of 550NM I think whereas the diesel box is good for 760 NM

    I don’t see any major drivetrain changes in the foreseeable future. They don’t have the volume. The good part is, the year one and year six rigs won’t be significantly different. It’s good for maintenance and good for resale.
