Tremec is the manufacturer of the transfer case and an American company. In typical fashion a decision was made that none of you guys will get your IG until us Americans receive ours.. One should expect delays until the end of 2023 when the first IG hits US shores

I click on my account half a dozen times a day knowing there will be no change. But one of these days I will suddenly see, in red, ‘In Transit’. 😎
@Cheshire cat ,
Don't drive yourself crazy by checking your account over and over again. The account is not updated consistently. My account is still showing In Production, even though it could have been delivered at the end of January.
Rely on your dealer. He will surely contact you when your Grenadier has arrived.

EP, i my mind any part of the brakes are a major part to be overlooked and if the QC missed it a well that is really worrying .
Ineos think we will keep following their carrot as most of us are in to this for £2.5k or thereabouts, some have contracts signed others not, those without contracts can just cancel their orders.
Collectively we have put a lot of faith into Ineos's project all any of us want is transparency, if they say Christmas then we have something to look forward too.
Ineos have moved the goal posts time and time again with excuse after excuse for doing so.
After all this time the cars at the dealers should be perfect and ready to go to end users.
There comes a point when the string holding the carrot breaks and customers have/want to look else ware.

Not in my case. Happy to wait until next year if it comes to it. I still have my old Defender for local journeys. I think my wait would be just as long for any of the competition.

My agent contacted me last week to say my vehicle was now "In Transit". They also said not to expect its status on the customer portal to change to "In Transit" as the portal doesn't get updated past "In Production". Sure enough checked the portal today and no change. Lesson for me is to rely on the agent rather than the portal for updates.

I would be more than happy to wait, but both my TD5 90 and Jag are non ULEZ compliant and i begrudge paying £12.50 a day to drive to work.I have until the end of August to make a decision if the car is not ready sooner.

What does a car have to be to be ULEZ compliant? If it is compliant do you pay at all?

ULEZ compliant vehicles must be Euro 6 for diesels and built after 2005 for most petrols all electric cars some hybrid cars or vehicles more than 40 years old, but you must register these with TFL before entering the zone.
the zone will be basically Greater London after August.
All drivers will still have to pay to go into the central London congestion zone.

Euro 6 for diesel, Euro 4 for petrol is generally the rule. There are some exceptions however, as late registered Euro 5 diesels have been known to slip through the net, as its done on date of reg not what's actually under the bonnet.

Mr Know-It-All (Google) has a different opinion:

"TREMEC is a manufacturer of automobile transmissions and drivetrain components based in Querétaro, Mexico."

So better forget about further delaying our deliveries here in Europe ;-)

But do we not now have all the information that explains the current delays? A recent call from my local agent explained the latest "campaigns" (such as hose replacements) that were being held up at customs. INEOS want the cars to be right, and if that means delays, so be it. Comms and IT could be a lot better, for sure. But ultimately IA will be judged on vehicle quality, reliability and safety.
Yes we get information but no official ones from Ineos directly.
It’s always second hand info which sometimes is reliable and sometimes not.
That gives me a slight uncertainty about everything what’s going on.

But no green papers saying “brake pipe ok”, steering hose ok”, or even “wipers ok”? Wonder why highlight the transfer case above the other previously disclosed faults that need to be rectified before handover?
Probably the checked such things as transfer case and diff locks in Hambach on the parking lot as this would not be an easy quick fix in the dealers garage. After the check they forgot the green paper.

Looks like a registration number change I did a few months ago has not caught up on the TFL website yet, so free for now :)
