Americas Where is your Grenadier?

As is my luck, RDS says their delivery appointments are booked until the 7th 😢

AT.THE.DEALER!!!!!

That is great, cannot wait to get you input once it is in your hands.
Do have a question, is there any correlation between preorder number and build date? And on the other side between build date and delivery, as Regal has vehicle in the 11,000 range offered for sale?
Thanks

In theory, yes. In practice, kinda. Basically, it seems that the lower preorder numbers received their Grenadier orders first. FWIW my preorder was 14,200-something and my vin is 10257.

Reservation number and VIN number, IMO, are not truly correlated. Based on the way VIN #'s work there are different number/letters that indicate specific things (i.e. country vehicle is going to, etc.). Someone posted the breakdown in an earlier post.

Res # VIN# Difference
Krabby 14200 10257 3943
Angus. 10136 7004 3132
diff. 4064 3253

I think the only correlation is the each number increases with every subsequent order but is not necessarily incremental.

Edit: Here is the link to VIN explanation https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/vin-vehicle-identification-number.12410773/

For reference I was preorder# 10213 and vin# 6492

This is what I was able to find through yesterday.
Hi dbaudoin, Any chance of updating the list. Just got my VIN# ending in 6845 and told she is in transit on the open seas. Have not been able to find it as I don't know the BOL# or other info. Supposed to perhaps arrive around mid February. DaBull

Finally contacted by my dealer - I have a VIN! 12882
According to his information it is at the port waiting to be shipped. Not sure how accurate the dealer's systems are so I'm hoping it's already enroute. Any other US buyers with a similar VIN to mine with knowledge their Grenadier is crossing the pond?
