It’s also reality, you can acknowledge it or choose not to believe it exists but that doesn’t change the facts.
The facts are that vehicle pricing has dropped in the last 12 months so there’s that. As has component cost, availability, shipping costs, and fuel. You know… the reasons they gave for the first price hike.

I get it. People still had prices from 2019 in their heads when they started this journey, and they wanted to believe a bespoke import 4WD could be had for the same price as a Jeep. However, Covid and runaway inflation have blown that scenario all to hell.

My Trailmaster build came in at $91.880. I was actually expecting it to be worse...

Absolute top dollar luxury pricing? Or do they think they’re competing with the value of maxed out performance 4x4? Seems like they all got drunk and dared each other to come up with the highest possible prices

I assume you also have on road costs to add?
I configured my vehicle in Australia and US and it has gone way up in Australia and US is slightly higher.
US gets performance sound system and 400W inverter but misses out on lots of standard features we get.
No roo bar for US
400W inverter "that's puke that is" glorified phone charger

Can a current owner provide some feedback on the Utility seats? I'm concerned on how dirty they get (trap dirt) and hard to clean they may be. What is the material?

After seeing these prices, I think most of our community (esp. NA members) wouldn't hesitate to promote the good, honest, and respectable dealerships amongst us who will sell the vehicle at MSRP and not add any BS! I don't want door guards, Scotchgard, undercoating, etc., please sell me the truck just as I have spec'd it.

I am willing to travel some to work with this dealer. I'm sure that 10, 20, 30+ of us could make one dealership very happy if we shopped together but expected honesty and fairness in return.
Count me in
Count me in too. Wife just approved 🤘

Also, I find it interesting that there won't be a dealership in the DMV area initially. It looks like I get to trek to ... Philly

We can have a group funeral as most of our spouses are sharpening their knives.
Dunno. My spouse actually is thinking of buying and if no Alu-cab comes forth, then flipping. Price came in below my guess. They put a tentative dealer icon in MA. I think our dogs should get a vote too. I wanna be a Pavement Princess too! At lunch yesterday in Concord, MA we counted 7 fancy Jeeps, 5 Teslas, 2 RR, numerous giant trucks, a few LR. The Rivian and the G-Wagon must have been at the transfer station.

And no property tax either. You want a roommate? I will take up no room.
Haha, we do have property tax, but it is low. I live most of the year in WA (no income tax but high property and estate tax--gotta move before I die) and part of the year in MT (no sales tax) which works out well.

David - can you ask your local dealer the make/model of the roo-bar that you see in AUS - we can't order in the US but looks so much better with that.

I'm hopeful we'll have a clean bullbar available in a year or two from one of the many armor builders stateside or those exporting from AUS.
