I hate to say I told you, but . . . I told you.
I stumbled across this trying to figure pricing.. Those are the 2-seat variants, correct. There is however the base spec 5-seat Station Wagon at $98K vs the 2-seat above (if you page back and go down through Station Wagon)... hang on I’ll paste below. If I go back through my saved configs I...

I'll just quote myself here from months ago: "Youtube reviewers speculating the US version Grenadier is going to go for $50k are smoking crack. I won't be surprised if it's double that."
Like everyone, I wish the Grenadier was cheaper. But it's also sort of darkly amusing to read the reactions here because the pricing is basically exactly what I predicted. With taxes, a decently specced Trailmaster/Fieldmaster comes out at around $92-$94k. Vehicle tax is 6.25% here in Texas, plus about $1200 for title and registration. Delivery fee of $1200-$1800 is pretty standard across all brands, so you're realistically looking at just over $100k USD out the door. Pretty much what I said in my very first post on the forum.
There was zero chance this vehicle was ever going to sell for $60k the way the talking heads on Youtube predicted. Those guys consistently underestimate real world costs by multiples of tens of thousands of dollars.
It's going to be a very difficult uphill climb for Ineos to gain any meaningful market share in the North American market considering the large number of capable 4WD vehicles on the market.
