Exactly. You don't get rich to have problems. He's got his. Job done. And to his credit and the Team that made it happen. Not many folks can say the same about building a new car.

My concern is the longer this unsolved issue drags on, Ineos may decide that IA is not a core business and their skill sets are not suited to the automotive business. And IA is sold off as is for an established vehicle manufacturer to deliver.

Negotiations can take time, and are often conducted in secret.

My concern would, be the longer it goes on the more it becomes part of Corporate Culture. Be that around communication or delivery.

Imagine they can go 3 months more without delivering. Then maybe shoot for 6 more after. Then, "who ever said we were going to deliver cars ?".

I mean seriously, has IA ever really said the plan was to actually deliver cars to regular, end customers ?

As for the whining, whinging etc monikers dished out here, that does surprises me. I'm sorry, we're a comminuty why, again ?

Curious and not sure if this has been answered, are any of the deliveries Utility Models or Station Wagon models, vs higher end versions?

And then we would all have our down payments back very quickly. Let's wait and see. Ineos wouldn't make public what the real problem is now. That would not be good for the whole thing.

There have been lots of comments like "Sir Jim has taken delivery of his and doesn't care about the rest of us"
I just haven't seen any pictures or print of him actually taking delivery of one, or any other members of his family or design team

I had some initial sympathy for him as his background seems to have been more marketing than engineering/production. So maybe he believed what he was told and fronted up on the initial video; but you'd think once bitten, twice shy. However, he came back repeatedly.

Still not certain he's stepped away, as he's still listed as a Director, now in tandem with LYNN HELEN Calder, appointed on 9th March.

They are all owned by Ineos Automotive I would assume but I guess that is like saying Sir Jim owns all the chairs and toilet rolls.
Is that his actual vehicle or just a demo unit?
I would have picked him for green or white

I am guilty tho. It's all in fun. Kicking around the rich guy is just what we do, my side of the tracks.

Rumour has it Grens are being shipped there for software repairs but the Orcs are having a heck of a time mastering the posh English accent needed for the voice recognition interlocks. They were going to send them to the colonies for reprogramming but quickly gave up on that idea - figured they wouldn't get them back.

So this will all take some time ...

Whatever the issue is it must be fairly serious, and difficult to rectify. Some of these cars have been at the dealers for a while now…

Am I correct that in the UK, the PCS union is now on strike over pay for five weeks?
Am I therefore correct in thinking that this will prevent the manual postal registration of motor vehicle for five weeks plus the subsequent backlog clearance.
I hope this service has been contracted out and is not affected by this strike.
Knowing fate, have IA also chosen Evri as the courier?

I’ve been assured that I’m in the “next” batch of contracts

I’m quietly optimistic but then again I had the same advice in November after my config was locked

I wish they would release more info on the delays though!
