Seat Heating Connectors

No wiring. The seat switches are an integrated part of the circuit board behind the grey panel, so no easy retrofit possible.

However, fibreglass heating mats can be added to the seats although requiring a fair amount of dismantling. If you look at the seat plastics there are already some cut outs where you could install the switches.
Not beyond the competent diy'er. Plenty of videos on Youtube if that is your thing. While not exactly the same, this should give you idea of the work involved.

Back in 2001, I got a Nissan Pathfinder SE edition which had cloth and rubber interior. The idea was ease of clean. I spent 1k at the time for leather and heated front seats. They put a switch on the arm rest console. Looked integrated at the time. I bet you can get Katzen, do interior and throw heated seats with switch location of your choice for decent price.

This is incorrect. There is in fact airbags in the seats. If you do a search you’ll find the information here but it was confirmed the seats have airbags in them.
Didn’t notice any markings of an airbag on my seats. Need to check that out in my car, but I have an early Y23 model. Maybe there is a difference with the Y24 models

Ah. Perhaps that is the case. In THIS thread a NA dealer confirmed the seats have airbags.
