Long range tank

I’m planning to install a Brown-Davis tank and interested in the experiences of others. Issues with installation? Problems restarting fuel flow? Any inconvenience with regular filling and management of tanks? I think it’s a great benefit for occasional long-distance outback driving but I want to be sure that I can live with it for general use. I would appreciate any advice.

There is another thread covering install and experience with the BD long range tank.

Suggest you buy direct from BD. I've had some teething issues and BD have been most responsive. Search Brown Davis on this website for others' experiences

Thanks. I've discussed with BD and they sent me installation instructions. Just seeking more user feedback.

Look for the Top Cat thread on this as both Steve B and I have put them in.
I did mine with a hoist and Steve on his driveway!
Biggest issue we found was the fuel filter is not up to it so used a nice fat VN Commodore one. I placed my pump behind the plastic wheel well trim. Some of pipes supplied need to be a bit longer too
its a great tank and really has made a difference for me!
