Brown Davis or Long Range Automotive?

As someone considering the INEOS who currently is a Defender owner this would be something I would want. I did notice that it is not CA legal due to emissions. This is the only area I see the Defender with a better solution. They have a replacement for the existing tank that is just twice as big. Goes in the same spot. Seems like there was room there.

If I change to an INEOS this topic is very interesting to me since I have a teardrop and the range towing is not great.

Did anybody know if someone installed it already? The LRA I mean, can’t find any private video or photo online. I want one but I want to see if they have problems and how loud the truck becomes without muffler

This guy on Reddit is getting it installed and has posted some pics. He had it sprayed with Truck bed liner before installing to help it blend in ($200), which seems like a good idea:

In California the same issue will exist, aftermarket replacement tanks are also not allowed

I have a very good friend who has avoided this issue with is heavily modified diesel F350/Excursion beast. He has it notified DMV that it is garaged in a one of the zip codes that doesn't require smog tests every 2 years. He literally pulled a random address from google maps and then has his mailing address at his home. Here is a link to the zip codes that only require smog on change of ownership.
