Brown Davis or Long Range Automotive?

It is definitely a diesel car but it will be very unlikely for Long Range or Brown Davis to use a separate filler design for the petrol tank. Nearly all of the tanks sold by Long Range for other models that use petrol use the dual filler neck.

I’ve had an email from Long Range America as I expressed an interest a while back.
Just awaiting shipping info to U.K.and when confirmed will order.

I have the 40 gallon LRA tank on my LC200. It is a great system. The replacement filler neck is easy to use. I installed it by myself in my driveway almost 5 years ago, and it still works flawlessly.

For those of us with or waiting for your QM, spoke to LRA. There will be a sperate tank designed for the QM. No estimate time of arrival.

Brown Davis has announced the Australian diesel QM tanks. Petrol cannot be too far behind. Two sizes, 105 litre and 168 liitre. The 168l is a two part tank.

Would be interested to hear from anyone who has fitted a Brown Davis or LRA tank? I can’t find much info on the LRA unit or how it may compare to the Brown Davis unit. Does muffler removal increase cabin noise at all?

LRA tank won't be shipping until April.

I would watch a video of the Milltek Non-Resonated exhaust for the petrol Grenadier, as it has a similar construction (deletion of the rear muffler, but keeping the OEM mid-box resonator)

If you are referring to the diesel tank, both Brown Davis and LRA need the muffler removal. My Diesel LRA tank should be shipping in 2 weeks

For the LRA petrol tank the OEM muffler is removed and a compact "replacement" is installed along side the tank. No question the sound is changed, the question is to what degree.

Does anyone know if adding a non OEM fuel tank (gasoline/petrol) would cause container shipping or RORO issues for international travel? And or US to Canada/Mexico and back via land borders?

Long as you don’t fill it with drugs should be non-issue with borders.

As far as I know RORO and containers ask for fuel level to be low, and it’s doubtful anyone would be wise enough to know an aux tank is fitted.

Yes - diesel Trialmaster - just interested to know if anyone who has one fitted has had any noticeable sound increase inside vehicle.
Also, would be interested in pricing on LRA if you don’t mind revealing same - I haven’t sought a quote off them.

The Long Range America tank will be 94.6 liters. Basically the same size as the OEM fuel tank for a doubling of range.

Long Range America Tank
Did anybody know if someone installed it already? The LRA I mean, can’t find any private video or photo online. I want one but I want to see if they have problems and how loud the truck becomes without muffler

The tanks start shipping from Australia in early April, with US units arriving in mid-late April
