MY24- (minus) sounds more advanced than MY23.5TBH it would not be surprising if the 1st US trucks are more MY 23.5 than full blown 2024s.
Or we go VW style and the early vehicles are MY24, and then MY24.25, MY24.5, etc.

Assuming it is the same thing many of the Euro vehicles have, if you are braking hard enough to engage the ABS it will blink the hazard (and/or) brake lights in addition to the brake lightsWhat is “automatic hazard warning?”
Just figured that out. Thanks.Assuming it is the same thing many of the Euro vehicles have, if you are braking hard enough to engage the ABS it will blink the hazard (and/or) brake lights in addition to the brake lights
I believe I reserved in May and pre-ordered right when the window opened.May I ask when you reserved and preordered?
Yes I have spoken to them 3 times. They reached out twice and I called them with a question.Has anyone in the Seattle area been contacted by the dealer yet? I believe it’s Elliot Bay Ineos Grenadier.
Maybe just call back. Whatever the reality of you order situation is, your query doesn't change it so why be annoyed at them? Maybe they have 500 questions to answer and they are waiting on Ineos that has 25000 questions to answer. Who knows, so be generous in judgement until they really do something legit to be annoyed with. It's a car dealer. There's a strong chance they will. There's no advantage to getting ahead of them. Not gonna lie. I'm a little disappointed they haven't called me yet. I called them and asked a question about my build date and delivery and the guy said the manager would reach out. I have been waiting because they are gearing up, but if they're reaching out to people but not answering my question I'm a bit annoyed.
The hitch thing seems really odd, as does factory-install items not being handled AT the factory. I suppose if parts like the hitch and snorkel are on backorder but will make it to the dealers around the same time as the trucks it makes sense. But it's still odd.... did say that dealers will be installing certain "factory installed" items such as snorkels, and potentially NAS tow receiver.
The physical hitch involves the removal of a cover and either 4 or 6 bolts as memory serves me (we were going to swap one on a PTO2 truck that didn't have it for the commercial filming)As an aside, would a current owner please post photos of how the hitch is installed. That is, if it's a bolt-on system or one welded/built-into the frame. Thanks.
Check your email. That is how they responded from the GM. The first time, I called them on 9/28, dealer day. Then I responded to email and they called me right back. Finally I called them with my question. Not gonna lie. I'm a little disappointed they haven't called me yet. I called them and asked a question about my build date and delivery and the guy said the manager would reach out. I have been waiting because they are gearing up, but if they're reaching out to people but not answering my question I'm a bit annoyed.
This is also a new process for them and many unknowns as well. They are trying their best to answer all the questions once they have answers. Not gonna lie. We can check any build sheet that is in our market, so if anyone has questions pertaining to their build, we can definitely check for them. I think the confusion is because no accessories are being installed at the factory. The dealers will need to order the accessories and install them once the vehicle arrives. The build price includes the accessory price excluding install because all dealers coast to coast have different rates. We will however be installing all of the accessories for no charge.A few have posted that their pre order spec sheet shows they ordered the tow package, but then on the confirmation with the dealer, it doesn’t show. Can you check over the orders you already have and see if that’s the case for everyone?
Thanks!
All accessories will be dealer installed at least for now. Dealers will order accessories from the build sheets. Accessories are usually installed by manufacturers at the port but this may not be set up yet with IG. I'm not sure if it will change with future builds. Looking into the hitch question. I have a call into the factory rep.The hitch thing seems really odd, as does factory-install items not being handled AT the factory. I suppose if parts like the hitch and snorkel are on backorder but will make it to the dealers around the same time as the trucks it makes sense. But it's still odd.

It surprises me that anyone would have an 8th month build date from a European factory. Is there an official thread for the in production vehicles for NA? I spoke again with my rep at Regal Ineos in GA. My build month was 8/2023. Gren should be close to being complete and delivered second half of November or December but cannot be confirmed. They're still awaiting word from Ineos on the final shipping times to them.
