Me too, maybe second jacket for second Grenadier. My is since 6 weeks my own, and in the account still status in production😂 If they deliver, I will sell it with 13.000€ profit😉 That’s the increase to my paid price🤫

Me too.

Jacket arrived on 10. Juli and today I got the „pending“ message.
same here,
looking forward to the second jacket, my family was very interested. But of course I couldn't give my (first) one away ;-)

I'm going to Albania again next week (I've been there several times years ago) and I'll see if I can find someone to put the patch on...

I got my vehicle around the 5th June. I haven’t even received a code yet.

Is that par for the Ineos course or have most people had theirs already with that sort of delivery date ??

So there are no embroiderers or seanstresses in Belgium?
What do all the sports teams/schools etc etc do?

With the Belstaff we should have received a "patch application instruction". The e-mail I got on July 4th said clearly:
"Your Trialmaster jacket comes with a limited-edition Grenadier patch and fitting instructions"

My surprise was that the instruction was: "Due to the technical nature of the waxed cotton fabric, we recommend using a good tailoring service to attach the patch to you jacket".

View attachment 7820502

As there are no tailors anymore in the UK or Belgium, and I have no intention to go to Albania* I did send an e-mail to the "customerservice@belstaff.com", e-mail address mentioned on that same instruction cardboard:
  • 07/07: my e-mail "Could you please provide me the “application instructions” of the patch?"
  • 07/07: their response "We have received your query and we will aim to get back to you within 24 hours"
  • 07/07: their response "I've passed on the details of your request to our Aftersales specialist ... I should have a response within the next 10 working days"
  • 07/19: their response after 12 days: "Belstaff have asked the brand team to reach out to the INEOS product team and have asked that they then reach out to the customers. Once this information has been filtered through, you will be contacted immediately"
My conclusions:
  • not sure I will get an answer soon
  • Ineos is now also starting a tailor service! :devilish: Wondering who will become the CEO
:eek::cry::sick:

*the jackets are made in Albania

[EDITED: I have already been to Albania some 6 years ago, I loved the trip, and there are some nice places to drive with a Grenadier]
It's just as well this topic has its own thread...so to speak...
When I tentatively raised the Belstaff jacket with the dealer at the handover, he immediately said it was an Ineos matter!
hope it's not a "stitch-up"....

Really? I wouldn't have thought they were that flippant.

Hello Guys .
Any consensus where is the best place to saw on the patch? Was thinking either right top pocket of right sleeve ( regimental patch area )

Very valid point, you can't have Grenadier owners just sawing it where they want, some uniformity discipline is required. I bet the Hells Angels had the same initial problem.

I would love to have a jacket to sew the patch on. 2 months of ownership and I still haven’t been given a code or received an email.

At least IA are consistent !!!

Where is the best position on the Belstaff jacket for the Trialmaster patch?

over the bridge, on the left
best on pocket as if the sewing process reduces waterproofing, there is still a layer of waxed cotton between you and wet weather. If on the arm, water ingress more of a possibility. Of course, a liberal application of Barbour wax or similar around patch stitching should help.

@Krabby I'm normally a medium and ordered a medium. It fits well BUT let's just say there's no margin for putting a little more weight on. It's a bit smaller than a typical UK medium.
In the same boat. Another ex-rugby player. Unless they open the Extended Sizing option (on the Belstaff website) I'm above their Italian 5XL... Contacted the email on the website and they said they only do the Italian sizes shown. Bugger all use to me!

I can’t believe how fast the jacket delivery has been - ordered on the 8th - sent from the Netherlands on 11th via Germany and Singapore and arrived here today 15th! I thought the arms may be a little long going by the size chart, but it‘s a perfect fit. Looks fantastic and a top quality item. I’m very pleased with it. Thank you Ineos!

Hi @Bobby Mac ... seems to be "Brisbane's" turn for good news!
Mine arrived also today. The speed and efficiency of the transport arrangements and communications were first class.
I'd taken @Jean Mercier 's advice and used the sizing of a jacket in my wardrobe. I tried the Belstaff for fit (excellent!) then made an off the cuff quip about needing a BMW R1250GS bike to go with the jacket.. "her indoors" not impressed!!
