AUSTRALIA: Third party suppliers for the Grenadier

Another option for a pre-built battery box is the ATG Bonza which are often 10% off and include free shipping:

I've got one of these I'm currently using to power a fridge while I'm waiting on parts to replace the secondary AGM with a lithium battery.

The ATG Bonza is using quality cells and BMS and I have personally tested it to deliver just over 100Ah of usage capacity. It doesn't include a DCDC, but does have a MPPT solar controller built-in and I can also recommend the ATG portable 225w solar panel which is currently outputting 215w into the Bonza as I'm camping.
Thanks I will look at it and add it shortly. I have hit the word limit in the posts, making additions hard.

What DC to DC charger are you using with the ATG?

I took the KickAss BB over to my nephew's tonight, before I decided to keep it!

I test charged the battery on solar and then the alternator, plus I tested all the USB and cig sockets.

Wow it is really nice.
It really is a well built unit.
Mind you the silicone adhesive pads almost weld the battery to the base. As I found out when I swapped the AGM for lithium.

I'm using a Renogy 20A DCDC which I had lying around, connected using andersons to the spare invertor stud and fuse. Longer term I've got a Victron XS 50A but that will be for the fixed lithium install.

@douggie is offering some rear roof shelves over here. Only a limited number available, they are based on the @ninetubes design (which I have installed on my IG).

What is the rear view like through the cargo door windows with the ceiling shelf installed?

cheers

Minimal vision loss. I lost more vision, when I installed the Travel Buddy Oven on the shelf.

Not an issue for me at 5 foot 11 inches.

I see DMW has released a bullbar and sliders
Has anyone seen the sliders in the flesh (or installed them)???

Has anyone come up with and after market drivers seat yet? I'm serious. I want to change it.

The images for the KAON side Molle Panel show two versions, without and without an access "hole". But there is no choice in the menu selection. That needs to be resolved.

There is only one version, it has a panel that can optionally be removed to make the access hole. Looks like there are six fasteners that hold it in.

Thanks, the description is calling these removable infill panels.

Knowing that, I still cannot see the infill panel bolts in the images. Must be a very slick setup.

Probably not the answer you are looking for but you could replace them with different Recaro seats that suit you better (maybe with lumbar support) and it should not cause issues with compliance or insurance as it had Recaros fitted from the factory. At least in Vic they laws about fitting aftermarket seats are fairly restrictive (not that many pay attention to them).

Jrace industries in Townsville has done a GVM upgrade on a Grenadier as well, someone mentioned it on here. I saw them at local caravan show, and had a chat about it. He said it was highest one currently offered. He said it was available, but obviously very small volume here in FNQ. Nothing on their website.
This is now available as a 4T GVM Increase available Pre-Registration

"Australia’s First Federally Approved GVM for the Ineos Grenadier!
All model variants now available with 4T GVM and increased rear axle capacity, including the new cab chassis variants. Available pre rego under federal vehicle type approval, or post registration with state certification."

Announced on Socials with more information to come on the website.

Even if you upped the experience with one of these , the 2L footrest is still going to be an unwelcome guest 🫠

Neat! I like how these and the top shelf can still be fitted if you have an Ineos Cargo barrier. Prices are reasonable and the fitting instructions are well written.

Cheers
