I never understood why criminals get tattoos.
You choose a career that inherently you don't want to be easily identified, then cover yourself with a unique set of identifying marks.
Dumb.
Sometimes it disguises your identity :devilish:
A murderer in my country had the tattoo 777 in his neck, very visible: 777 means something like prosperity, luck, power.
The tattoo helped to identify him.
At least two of the 7, therefore 77, were right:
  • He is prosperous: he gets lodging, clothes and food for free
  • He is lucky, police doesn't search anymore for him
  • I don't think he has power!

I was a smoker and had never done time...I was in a pub on lunch break in Fortitude Valley Brisbane, I could smell White Ox tobacco favored by jail mates...I tracked it down and asked the owner if I could swap a ciggy and he asked, when were you inside...not a badge of honor but a good smoke :ROFLMAO:
Pretty sure most prisons are either non smoking or are transitioning to it.

In Australia 96% of murders are committed by gutless men who can't handle their life.
68% of all crime is domestic violence.
Men who believe they are men because they can beat their wives and children.
Mostly they come up with excuses.
Their family always say they didn't know.
Bullshit.

Old habits die hard - I’ve had the Grenadier 15 months now and yesterday I gave an oncoming Defender the “Landrover wave”, just as I used to do in my old 130, before the light suddenly came on as the Landy driver went past with a puzzled look! 🤭

I do exactly the same...in my case the line below sums me up :ROFLMAO:

Where the hell have I been? This is the first I ran across this thread since joining the forum. I am a HUGE jokester/prankster, so I will be on here regularly now (sorry, will apologize now if you don’t get my humor).

Tazz, you wrong for this one but I got it and lol!! As someone who has actually been thru that school when I was active duty, we called the Airborne instructors (including the jump Sergeants/jump Masters) “black hats”. Of course this was 20 years ago as I’m an old retired fart now, but they did not hold back on the threats!!

So I shall begin my attempt at the “chuckle of the day” with the following:

@Dual Grenny Guy I'm a serial offender here and make no apologies! In the medical field for 40 years humour has kept me , colleagues and others caught up professionally in the grimness of poor health saner than we would otherwise have been.
This thread is also a sanctuary from the grumpy old and angry young men :)
