For the Australians on American Thanksgiving- my little was watching the traditional Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC. Kylie Minogue was performing, and I said “guess what - she’s Australian.” She looked confused and said, “hmmmm . . . she doesn’t LOOK Australian.” I asked her what she meant, and she said, “well, she just doesn’t look the same as other Australians.” I took a wild guess and asked “do you mean like Bluey?” “EXACTLY,” she shouted. I said “weeeellllll - maybe she was adopted.” She thought about it with her finger on her chin: “Oh yeah, I bet you’re right.” She’s pretty like her mama, but definitely got her brains from her papa, poor kid.
