Pics of 1.7" Eibach kit

Here you go. I had the 1.7" front springs installed today. I have held off on getting the rear 1.2" springs installed as I really wanted to eliminate the 2+" rake that the truck had in stock form. I love how it sits with just the front 1.7".

Eibach says they will soon be offering front and rear springs separately. Interestingly, they no longer offer the 2.5"/1.2" kit. Possibly due to some issues with the front driveshaft.

I parked next to a buddy's stock Trialmaster for comparison.

I ended up going with the 1.7" front + 1.2" rear and love it. I like a bit of rake, and with the fox dampener, it drives fantastic on 34x10.5r17 Toyo at3s. Seems like a smart move with the issues the 2.5" has had. Appreciate all the input!

I'm thinking about doing the 1.7" + 1.2" combo
What size tire can you fit with that combo?
I have 33" tires on my stock truck without any problems

Same as stock, 35s; I'm moderately confident that going to 37s will require fender (or at least flare) modifications)

Anyone run that combo with the new king shocks?
Sounds to me like a decent combo; 1.7 + 1.2 inch lift, 35" tires and king shocks.

Reviving the thread now I see there are more of us migrating to the 1.7 front and 1.2 rear from the 2.5/1.2. I’m still on 285/70/17 MT Baja Boss AT’s for now; likely going to 305 or 315 soon.

Just food for thought, in case anyone was curious as to what they’re getting into.

I've never levelled up a vehicle's factory rake. Is it just a cosmetic thing? Do you guys find any change in steering/ corner handling or hard braking?

I've been reluctant to level it because I feel like the rake actually results in better visibility on the trail. I could be over-stating that, though.

Because removing rake is as American as apple pie. 😆

But in my pilot’s mind, I would imagine removing some rake helps some aerodynamic drag along the roof line.

Whilst removing downforce!
I can remove drag by pulling the roofrack off, and tossing my frock aside.

But if you raised the front by 4", imagine the rock step you could conquer!
