Oke I missed it but what is with this indicators ? :p
Do they use different blinker fluid or do they have to be mounted upside down to work :p
Because INEOS raised the GVM to 3550 for Australia, probably mostly to avoid the luxury car tax, it means it needs Cat 6 indicators (bigger and brighter) so Australian vehicles need the standard indicators removed and replaced before they can be registered

At least they haven’t done what Toyota has

I think the ones in the headlights still work. Just replaces the small round amber side ones with larger white ones. Yes as oer the picture

I hadn't fully understood the importance of illumination levels with " Category 6" side indicators until presented with a "working" example yesterday (mid) afternoon in bright sunlight travelling on the 5 lane Western Ring Road out of Melbourne. A large 34 wheel dual trailer interstate truck started to slowly drift across the lane just prior to activating the side indicators. There was a small Toyota Yaris about level with the driver's door. The Toyota driver hadn't noticed the impending "nudge" and I suspect the truck driver hadn't paid attention. As soon as the rearward-biased very bright yellow indicator low on the front RHS mudguard of the truck began to flash the Toyota driver reacted immediately and darted out of the way... it was a close call...
We were about 20m to the rear of the Toyota and two lanes across...
The fitting on mine even if "temporary" is neat and sturdy (so far). Looks quite in keeping with the high quality of the vehicle.
PS: I arrived in Tasmania on the ferry at 0630 today. I might be one of the very few registered examples to grace the "Apple Isle" thus far!😄

Corrugations will test it...as said before a couple of little spots of Sikaflex under the top edge will hold while waiting for the replacement...happy motoring in Tazzie land ;)

Oh well what’s another week after all this time. Maybe I’ll get lucky and the delay will result in the software update and brake controller kit being released before delivery.

I may cruise down on Sunday and see if it’s actually docked.

Cheers
Steve
