Can't have everyone jumping off the ship , can we?
It'd be just @Stu_Barnes & @Krabby talking about the old days of the muppet show,
Now that you bring it up...

I suspect DaveB has a lot more on his mind rather than just his new Grenadier which is a distraction from his wife's serious health issues he flagged a while back....

I find it interesting that just as a Brit. expat in the USA initiated this forum, another Brit. expat in the USA years ago founded www.rangerovers.net which for almost 10 years for me (2006-2015) was a lifeline in maintaining a recalcitrant P38 HSE with the "Thor" (Bosch/BMW) version of the Rover 4.6L V8....
May this forum excel as did RR.net (until years later it inevitably went behind a pay wall and RRs became almost impossible for the average / skilled enthusiast to do any DIY)
Right...
now back to it! (y)

First of all.
Thanks so much to Henry who took the pictures and video.
He is a member of the forum and reached out to pick me up from the train station.
I walked out to see his Donny Gray Grenadier parked and waiting.
It was a great way to link the forum, the train ride and the trip to ignition ineos dealership.
You’re welcome Dave - it was great to finally meet: the man; the myth; and the legend. Hope you’re having happy travels, mate. Let me know next time you’re back in town.

This is likely DaveB reason without him directly telling us. He has plenty of things to do and I bet, he will post back here in the future on the journey. We can still travel, enjoy family and experience life without the internet... at least for a short while!
