Installed an organiser on the cargo barrier to store bits and pieces like torches, suncreeen, handheld UHF etc. EDIT: installed a second one on the other side of the car.

A rear mounted UHF aerial and work light are proving to be a lot of work. But, the reception on the UHF will be much better than any bull bar mounted aerial. The wiring is through to the door but not into the cabin yet - that's the next job. Oh, and removing the trim piece to route the wires...

The Canny route?

This is my solution - but it's a lot of work to route the cables through the door and into the cabin. The upside is that my UHF reception is better than most bull bar mounted aerials with the longer mast fitted. The shorter mast makes it easier to get into the garage.

Ah, I see. The diamond-shaped RAM mount has a fastener hole centre that matches the Grenadiers faux-modular trim. Those rectangular things you see there are magnetic mounts for a UHF radio handpiece and/or handheld.

This rear mounted UHF aerial might give you some ideas. On my old Nissan Patrol I had a small LED light fitted low near the towbar. You could do the same with the INEOS and turn the light on when the car is in reverse (by wiring into the reverse circuit). I used a weather sealed Lightforce LED.

I have seen this and do like the extra coverage roof mounting offer. But I also run a fair bit of stuff on the roof and don't want to make it too hard getting the aerial folded up and down. I also don't mind having the aerial on the front left of the bar to use as a reference in tight spots.

Having taken one of the grab bars off to route my uhf radio antenna, they are mounted on strong metal, the concern would be the plastic mouldings that hold the aluminium pipe.

Anyone thought of using those A-Pillar RAI mounting points to attach an UHF aerial base? Looks like it could be a good spot for an aerial.
