...is rough, rocky and slow going. Drove before sunrise for a section of it and I can say with certainty that I will be getting some additional off-road/aux lighting. I’m currently riding on stock suspension with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 255/85/r17 and AO diff skids. Didn’t rub or scrape anything.

Do you think the tires would clear the wheel well without the 2.5" lift? I'm wondering if they're less likely to rub given the narrow width.

How noisy are the tires?

That sounds exactly like a 255/85R17 Baja Boss AT. Someone here runs those, maybe they can comment on fit without lift or door mount. 255/80R17 does fit, seen by several here.

Yes. The 255/85r17 tire size is currently only offered by Mickey Thompson. There are lots of 255/80R17 on the market. It’s a very tall tire for the spec…I’ll put a tape measure on it today and post the actually height.

Is the MT Baja Boss the only tire made in that size? A quick google didn't turn up any other options. I do like the color matched wheel - a very classic look.

MT Baja Boss AT have a 50k miles guarantee in the states. Not sure if it carries to other countries
