What I learnt today... Push the right hand stalk forwards and it washes the rear screen.
Yes, it is in the manual.

Changed my rear wiper today which has stopped that nasty squeak/dragging noise.

I found this, seems a lot of effort for something never seen. Both the capitalised lambda on the bracket and the full name on the door.

I might give it wash in that area while the wheel is off.

I did think it was a bit pointless having the vehicles name hidden behind the spare wheel

A few more pics of the GP factor hidden winch install.
The cover is the stock bumper cover, gp factor replaces the interior steel bumper. I had the factory tow receptacle on my front bumper so my cover is a touch different on the inside vs those to have the wire mesh but this is largely how it will look like.

That really is a great setup. Much better than the factory option but damn it is pricey.

No, as I previously mentioned I think "jamming" a momentary contact switch off will lead to it burning out prematurely.
Which would mean that entire panel would need to be replaced
I also have concerns that Ineos software updates( I am about to get my third) may be modified to run a scan on all components and that could cause it to fail .

I also have concerns that Ineos software updates( I am about to get my third) may be modified to run a scan on all components and that could cause it to fail .
I had a different idea.
You can buy a time-delay relay (this, for example), and wire it in a way that it would close contacts a few seconds after the ignition is turned on, and wire the contacts in parallel with the normally-open contacts of the Start/Stop defeat button.

I had a different idea.
You can buy a time-delay relay (this, for example), and wire it in a way that it would close contacts a few seconds after the ignition is turned on, and wire the contacts in parallel with the normally-open contacts of the Start/Stop defeat button.
At the risk of sounding flippant, the easy solution is to push the start/stop button immediatly after startup.

Yeah. Where's the fun in that?
As the others have mentioned before, if you're stopped on a hill, and the engine is OFF, the truck WILL roll backwards before the engine starts back up. It happened to me several times early on, before hitting this button became automatic. So while this feature may be fuel-saving, it is unsafe - not generally, but in INEOS' implementation in the Grenadier.

So... This does not appear too complicated to me:

I hit the stop start, parking assist and the recirculating buttons on start up but if I don't for whatever reason [memory] the stop start doesn't tell me because it doesn't operate...I have in the past not touched it for quite a few start ups and it has randomly stopped the engine when I have come to a stop.
The computer is alive and says after start up don't turn on that function he is going to hit that button [start stop and recirculating but not park assist]...and after I haven't done it for a while it gives me a wake up call...prick of a thing :LOL:

I would feel differently if this list could be eliminated, but removing just one does not solve the pain point. We badly need that software update to retain off settings for start/stop, speed warning and lane keep. But I don't actually expect Ineos to come through.

This is for the negative Nannie’s and the certain little group of non owners who seemed to relish in the fact that the production was halted (yes there are some of those on this forum, we know who there are and I’m not giving them any spotlight by naming them)….well Ineos finally broke news that production will start back up January 2025….yea we can wait for it but most of us owners had faith!!!

I hate the auto start/stop feature and your solution is elegant. But I am lazy when it comes to stuff like this so my pre flight checklist of button pushes will have to suffice. I literally just posted one page back maybe two, that the speed warning is NOT coming off permanently with any software update, and posted emails from Ineos employee whether you want to believe it or not that’s on you. I have also asked about the start/stop and lane keep, but I have not received a response yet and I have a feeling they will be sticking with those are safety issues too and no permanent off is coming.

I never expected a software update that would eliminate the nanny alerts and happily bought a Grenadier anyway. It is almost charming that you have to engage with the vehicle before rolling out. Kind of like using a choke or magneto switch in really old vehicles. It is simply part of the ownership experience.
