For the screw to fix I used at first only a bit with 1/2“ nut, it´s less high to screw.
I still have a set, will take some pictures for better understanding.

Yesterday, I embarked on a 600km drive to put my car to the test and see if any unexpected issues would arise. I encountered some gremlins, but nothing that has not been mentioned already.
The cruise control system worked smoothly for about five minutes before abruptly ceasing, accompanied by error messages indicating 'TSM not Available,' 'Reduced Braking Performance,' and 'HHC not available.' During one pit stop, the seatbelt chime persisted until I turned off the car and left it idle for ten minutes. At another stop, the radiator fan continued to operate for roughly five minutes after I had switched off the engine, producing a noise that resembled an impending takeoff.

On the positive side, the drive was exceptionally comfortable. Im 1.80m tall, I had no problems with visibility, side mirror angles, or overall comfort throughout the approximately ten-hour journey. The car gave a strong sense of solidity and stability, drawing numerous admiring glances from onlookers.

Picked up a set of these ARB Base Rack Auxiliary lights. The U bracket of the supplied mount sits nicely under the upper screw for the grab rail. I put one on each side. ARB

I refuelled with 63L to full , with "110km range" showing ; that old chestnut!
The young fella at the pump was looking at the car with eyes askew :unsure:; eventually I just said "it's not a Land Rover" and he seemed satisfied.
One day I'll drop the "it's a Chinese ripoff of a Land Rover defender" line.
My work colleague saw it and just said "it's magnificent!". He's been a serial BMW owner but had no idea the Ineos was BMW powered.

Oh and I am working out how to install my XTM drawers , which just fit.

Thought I’d confirm that the vehicle is a competent wader. Certainly surprised a Disco 4 last Friday at the River Ribble, Sawley, Lancashire, UK. River was over the bank on the main road. It drowned a BMW 1 series, the G had no trouble producing a decent bow wave and getting through about 60 cms of river water. The Disco driver erred and didn’t try to get through.
