Towed van/car combination today to get weighed today and it towed very well, about 100klm round trip @18l/100. Perhaps little stiffer springs in the rear would be nice dropped 50-70mm with 266kg tow ball download. (I'm used to 400kg rear springs in 100 series - fantastic for towing but bad without van on corrugations) Here's some weights for those interested - Trialmaster with bar and winch, two adults with empty 35litre fridge, considerable tools. No drawers or awning but these are to be fitted.
GVM as above 3220kg no van (330 kg's available)
GVM with van attached 3498kg (52kg's available - close to 3550)
GCM 6320kg ( 680kg's available)
Front axle no van 1612kg (55kg's available - close to 1667)
Rear axle no van 1608kg (542kg's available - not close @ 2150kg's )
Front axle with van 1524kg (143kg's available)
Rear axle with van 1974kg (176kg's available)
Hmmm, so you can load the van up, but not the fridge in the car. Do that and put 20-40L of water and a couple of clothes bags and you’re over. You’ll have to leave the beer and wine at home as well.

I assume you had a full tank of fuel on board? No room for jerries either.

Staying legal in anything’s hard these days.

People cart too much shit around in their vehicles.
We have a small, specialised caravan park in our street, only 12 sites, no kids, over 50 only.
short stay only. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057402101766

I see old 4WDs towing vans going past and they are usually overloaded
Rear suspension squashed down, front wheels barely touching the ground, back seat and rear of 4wd full of stuff and mostly some little dog sitting on passengers lap.
Roof racks loaded, often a tinny, rattling, clanking and springs squealing.

I went on a pegging party today, what fun!
Just to be clear, this involved ramming stakes in the ground for local shoot, before anyone jumps to conclusions!

Sorry for the naff photo but you can see old landy and the new Gren.

Performed admirably, locked central diff in low and high - no dramas.

Activated the off-road mode. Not sure why need the handbrake on, footbrake should be adequate.

Locked the rear and front diffs countless times to test and yes needed a good full lock left and right to stop the blinking but the front did seem to disengage when pushing button and the wiggle seemed more to do with the blinking/off-road screen indicator.

What a car 💪

Yes, best of a bad bunch as they say. Imagine a 3500kg van with 350 ball. My van is 22' and a good weight for it's size (3088 loaded) but heavy enough to drag around for sure. Weights were fully loaded to see where I was at with 300 litres of water, 40 litres fuel on drawbar, maxtrax etc - only carry the xtra as required but needed to know where I stood. Not much in the vehicle, empty fridge and tools. Still happy with the Ineos, likely the competition would be a little worse off.

ALTITUDE is what it is meant to be...but attitude is good :ROFLMAO:
I thought ATTITUDE referred to Altitude, Pitch and Yaw - It's an overall definition of the combination of these.

But I don't have the car yet, so can't see any of the subsequent screens.

No.. it isn't meant to be Altitude.
Altitude would have little meaning unless in a plane or falling off a cliff

Altitude or height is a distance measurement, usually in the vertical or "up" direction, between a reference datum and a point or object. The exact definition and reference datum varies according to the context (e.g., aviation, geometry, geographical survey, sport, or atmospheric pressure). Although the term altitude is commonly used to mean the height above sea level of a location, in geography the term elevation is often preferred for this usage.
Attitude shows Altitude but also pitch, roll, etc etc

Made the template for my car mats. My wife loves these mats and they collect grit , sand and mud nicely.
Of course it might be necessary to anchor mine when they're done with velcro or something.
Australian company , mats made from pubic hair of wild buffalo.

Are you a classic recycler right there...is it an old mat cut down or have you had it in fieldwork already?... (y)
If your car isn't listed , you send the template (they send you brown paper) to the company and they cut the mats.
The pictured examples are from my wife's car.
