A little while ago I got my Buzz Overland drawer system installed, thought it's been long enough now I'll show it off!
This is their 2 drawer and wooden top variation (although being modular I could take the top off and have the 2 drawers stacked and a fridge slide next to it).
Really good first impressions. As many of you may know I was with Buzz on the Game fair stand, having known the guys there for many years. As such, when Alex and Ryan offered to let me test the prototype flat top variant, I jumped at the chance, seeing as it suits my dual purpose needs well.
So far so good, there are no rattles or creaks, it goes together seriously well... credit to the manufacturering tolerances, and most of all... it looks the part.
The drawers are solid, I've had my 250 piece socket set and impact In there, and the runners run sweet.... very heavy duty.
The top is marine grade wood covered in a high wear resistant material, I've had hydraulic oil on it and it doesn't stain, just wipes off. I haven't managed to put a scratch on it yet. Far better than carpet if your going to be putting dirty and dusty things in there... for me that's sawdust and oil!
The top leaves space to access the jack still, and I've used the recess to stow my jump leads.
This isn't the final version, but honestly I'm super happy with it regardless.
