What did you do with your Grenadier today?

These guys came down our driveway yesterday afternoon and took off down the road.
This is why we need roo/bull bars

I had to get my reading glasses on to spot those

An expensive snail , then again by the time I'm done I'll be close to 2/3 the cost of that degree of off griddedness.

I can tell you the girl in the front was about 4.5 to 5 foot high.
The buck would have been 6-8 foot.

The female would have been 4-5 foot high and the male was 7-9 foot high.
big healthy roos moving fast.
Standing at the end of our driveway they were impressive.
We have hundreds in the area.
no red kangaroos though

They will slow you down

OK you win!
I'll bet your midges are bigger too!
(I don't think we get midges here.)

I do know they are as welcome as ants as a picnic. They ruined a few evenings in Sardinia recently.

I went to the "Defender Burghley Horse Trials 2023" yesterday, (Defender Burghley Horse Trials), and saw three Grenadiers there, two with officials, (one borrowed from Busseys) and one loose in the car park.

It was moderately easy to find my Grenadier in the car park.
I was there Friday, deffo the only Gren there that day, felt slightly outnumbered by the 1000s of new defender there!

Which brought me to the question... where did JLR get all those new defenders to park next to fences etc. They were strewn everywhere around the show.... supply issues must be resolved

Today driving to Hungary, now camping in 🇩🇪.
But after my lunch, I thought my trip was finished:
  • Ignition didn't do it, but I had a rattle noise
  • I had an almost full tank of cheaper Gasoline ⛽️ from Luxemburg 😇
  • Battery was OK
  • I tried several times, to no avail
  • I disconnected all my electrical stuff (fridge, cell phone, wireless dongel, etc.)
  • I made a supplementary 10 minutes pause, still nothing, only rattling
  • I wrote down my location on a paper and wanted to call road assistance, but ...
  • I pushed with my finger all the fuses and relays down (those that I could reach)
  • And the car started!
  • After that, no problems anymore
I have a sound file of the rattling noise, but don't know how to post it here. My guess: no petrol injected in the motor. But I am not sure.

Which town are you camping in?

Any orphan connectors in the wiring harness in there my friend ? I am also looking to retrofit the inverter and outlets . It seems they were planning for 2 outlets one next the 2 usb ports in the rear and one between the empty space of the jack cover and the cargo space cover .
No, I didn't see any connectors or blind wiring behind the plastic mask.
Sorry.
