A little while ago I got my Buzz Overland drawer system installed, thought it's been long enough now I'll show it off!

This is their 2 drawer and wooden top variation (although being modular I could take the top off and have the 2 drawers stacked and a fridge slide next to it).

Really good first impressions. As many of you may know I was with Buzz on the Game fair stand, having known the guys there for many years. As such, when Alex and Ryan offered to let me test the prototype flat top variant, I jumped at the chance, seeing as it suits my dual purpose needs well.

So far so good, there are no rattles or creaks, it goes together seriously well... credit to the manufacturering tolerances, and most of all... it looks the part.

The drawers are solid, I've had my 250 piece socket set and impact In there, and the runners run sweet.... very heavy duty.

The top is marine grade wood covered in a high wear resistant material, I've had hydraulic oil on it and it doesn't stain, just wipes off. I haven't managed to put a scratch on it yet. Far better than carpet if your going to be putting dirty and dusty things in there... for me that's sawdust and oil!

The top leaves space to access the jack still, and I've used the recess to stow my jump leads.

This isn't the final version, but honestly I'm super happy with it regardless.

Blimey that does look good. Have they put any rough pricing out yet? I think could be keen sub dog cage height etc...

Pricing for the draws and base plate etc are live, but this 2 drawer and wood combo isn't on there yet.

Yeah this set up leaves plenty of headroom on top for dogs, Ziggy our fox red lab is happy in there with a few blankets.

Could you please provide some details about the jack attachment to the ladder ?
Thanks
Used these:
plus some M10 nuts and bolts.

For security reasons I exchanged 2 of the nuts to lockable "star-knob-nuts", like these:

The distance between the steps of the ladder exactly fits the distance between the holes in the stand of the hi-lift jack.
If you need anything else, just let me know.

I wonder if that was just chance or someone's cunning plan? 🤔

Today I put my baby on a diet. Always just adding weight is not good (for a car) 😉
133 holes before you start counting (and some more to drill).

Positive side effects:
- I see what‘s in my boxes
- under ventilation for the bed
- easy to fasten stuff wo/ having to mount additional attachment points

Thanks for the details. Could you post some detailed pictures of the attachement points ?
Also a link to the hi-lift would be nice ☺️

Far far away
Doh, the 1 thing i want to see is where the rear vents are what space is there to fit a 220/240v socket, the prototypes had them and I see the 2024 models will as well. how hard is it to take apart the arm rest box? I am trying to work out if i can get a wireless charger hidden in there so I can fit a phone against the side.

something like this charger as it does 15w at 8mm range
https://www.mytrendyphone.co.uk/shop/baseus-card-ultrathin-fast-wireless-charger-15w-247249p.html

mounted in the side or back of the centre box then make a slot so the phone can can slot it, I have got the wireless android auto working really well with a dongle I also want to hide away.
