Awwww ...
You're right though it is nice to know you have your own housekeeper.
Do you guys have regular coffee mornings and discuss kitchen colours ?

Can I get an invite ?

This thread is a joke.

Diff housing thread however is M10x1.0 (NOT 1/8 BSP) no joke.
I tried them both in my own car

Middle fitting is the OEM one other two are the correct metric push fittings.

Solid axel so definitely needs diff breathers.. no pictures of them or Where they route to. We asked in SF tour about them and werenât given specifics
And keep them clean and free. Otherwise oil will be pressed out of the seals. We got exactly that on our Ireland trip last week. A breather pipe was blocked and oil found its way out of the diff seal. Some compressed air did the trick...

So have you permanently extended the diff breathers? If so where to?
Waiting on the last parts, but running the hoses up to the engine bay. Unless I see something glaringly obvious next time it’s up on the hoist.
For my purpose I’m leaving the tranny and TC alone. They vent up near the top of the tunnel.
I would be tempted to leave the diff breathers there too but want easy access to blow through the lines periodically.
I think there’s a common misconception about breather vents needing to be higher than the water height. For me, so long as the axels submerge and finish sucking air in before the vents potentially go under, you have mitigated against the worst of it.

here’s the axle housing fitting:

Has anyone in Australia @TheDocAUS or anyone found a cost effective supplier of the correct M10x1.0 push fit connectors to go in the diff to accept the common 6mm hose that the breather kits seem to come with? I can find them online but all with ridiculous shipping costs, mostly from the UK.

Can you a picture or link.

If my guess is correct, it is a no from me. In the diff breather thread I listed a few Australian suppliers, which may be able to help.

If the UK link is Amazon UK, I may be able to help.

have everything needed at reasonable prices. I used them as needed for bits and pieces to maintain the air suspension on my 1999 Rangie P38.(y)

They make it hard with no search function, at least I cannot see it.

How many do you need?
Well as I understand it there aren’t transmission or transfer case or winch breathers so I guess just 2 for front and rear diffs

Agree they don’t appear to have the metric fittings for those

Close, but the thread looks like M10 1.5, we need M10 1.

What about Enzed, this is taken from their fitting brochure and they have outlets everywhere?

Try them and let us know.

There is an order coming from overseas into Australia, but they need to arrive and then be fitted to make sure they work. Then I can say more.
