What Rocksliders / Side Steps did you choose

I see the slider’s grip surface is dusty af. Does the dirty brush/rinse off easily? Or does it remain with the dusty tone?

I have had other sliders in the past where the sandpaper-ish top plate surface was persistently “dirty” looking.

I took the pics live while in Moab out on the trail. They get nice and black once rinsed off. I'll post a pic in the morning , I just came home from Moab and rinsed off the car but it's dark now.

Washed the dust off the car last night. This is how it looks in the morning. It's pretty overcast here.

There is grip tape on the sliders, comes with it, that makes it easy to step on it without sliding off.

thank you! How durable is the surface? Do you imagine tearing it or scrapping chunks off? Say you have gravel stuck in the soles of your shoes?

It looks durable to me. My friend has had his on for a couple of months and it looks the same as when new.
Dissent off-road recommended putting this truck bed liner on underneath the slider for touch-up purposes after rock contacts. They said its better than paint and much tougher.
I took this picture at Dissents workshop in Auburn, CA when i was there to have the slider installed (it was on the way to Moab and i saved on shipping).

Sadly i didnt get a chance to talk about them. I only had a full day there. Saturday. I wish i had more time. But i did see them from a distance.

I put on the dissent off-road sliders. Really happy with them. Tested them in Moab this weekend and they did their part on the one place where I touched rock..

I wish my Grenadier got that dirty. It shouldnt be a clean vehicle

It would be best to message/email them, but I would imagine the standard 10-12 weeks

How does the OEM look from above? From the side view, that tremendous gap between the bar and rocker panel has me thinking feet will fall thru and get stuck in the gap

I put on the Owl step sliders. I like them a lot. However my wife hates them. They have holes for grip, like other types do, and her heels get caught in them. I would have also preferred they kick out in the back, not the front.

I will be installing the sliders from Agile Off Road. They are very similar to the ones from ABNTR4x4 in that they replace the lower trim plastic which maximizes ground clearance.

Issue with those things is your shoe will hitting the body panel as you enter the vehicle.

That is why there is paint protection film on the the lower part of my doors up to the l-track!

I have the Owl step / sliders after having the factory step bars and I can say I'm much happier with the Owl sliders. More stable step to get in / out of the seat and the sliders are tough! I inadvertently tested them at Moab and they worked better than expected.

I ended up going with the LeTech step/slider as they were offered by my dealer. I've been very happy with them so far.

lol, the photograph is deceiving. if you look at the step from the top there are almost no space for your feet, meaning they are really close to the body of the car. ill take some better pictures for you.

White Knuckle “Zero Degree” Sliders from Shadowmarq Industries:
The ‘bump out’ at the rear provides a very useful step for rear seat access, as the rear doors are smaller and do not open as widely as the front doors.

I’m picking up my White Knuckle sliders later this week. I ordered them in bare metal and trying to decide between rattle can black paint for easy touch up or brush on bed liner. Power coat looks better but is more difficult to touch up the scratches that are sure to come.

I love that the AO sliders tuck up high and replace the factory plastic but I have never been a fan of body mounted sliders.
