What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Keep me updated if you don't mind?
Did the installer pull signal from existing speakers or did they try to hook it up to some other output?

I've also found the Grenadier to be sensitive to where you pull ground and positive. Can't piggy back on other wires or the computer gets unhappy.

I installed a "safe" into my trunk. It's really a lockable compartment. eBay purchase from China but surprisingly good quality. Easy straightforward install.

A bit like the Ineos towball.
It’s been rusty since the day I first put a trailer on it. Absolute junk.
You get it salty though!
Can always spot the guys who launch boats , live near the sea or get sand in their cracks!

I installed the Bison Basket and Roof Shelf today. The quality is excellent, and the installation was easy. However, the left basket doesn’t fit because my rear trunk isn’t flat. Bison’s website clearly states that the left basket only fits Grenadiers with a flat trunk design. I didn’t read that information carefully when placing the order....anyway, I am very happy with the right basket and roof shelf.
PS: the left basket is available for sale if anyone is interested. I'm located in Toronto, Canada.

This is with Falken Wildpeak AT4/W in 255/80/R17. Only aired down to 31 PSI. Tried my best to stuff them up to see if they'd rub. All good.
Sorry for the potato video quality and driving skill. I'm new at both.

I have the factory towball, and think it is good quality, it seems to be resisting rust quite well like all good high carbon steel.
If a stainless steel tow ball is rated at 3500kg then I guess it would be ok, but ultimately the best quality steel out performs the best quality stainless steel.

In anticipation of the imminent deliveries, what did you do with your Grenadier this weekend?

Tell the community and share the love, and pictures, lots of pictures.

This thread will remain locked until the first member tells me they have taken delivery.
Not the big kid!

Nope, I’ve had the car 6 months and first time it’s been near the beach was this month.
The black coating?? seemed to rub off wherever the trailer coupling touched it the first time I put a trailer on it 4 months ago. That is now rusted. Probably just surface rust, but it’s the first time I’ve had that happen to a towball.

Again, probably surface rust, but still looks dodgy as on a new vehicle.

Is that an IA towball hitch? It looks aftermarket.

The shiny ones are chromed, but use it enough and it chips off and rusts. But I see online you can upgrade to stainless chinesium for about 100 bucks 😉

That towball looks so different than the one ia sells in North America. I've used mine a couple of times but I have none of the rust or issues you have.
