Had a very nice conversation with the pub owner - unfortunately the pub wasn't open yet, so couldn't have a beer.
Best,
Christoph

So you have been at the Grenadiers Big Bang location.
Can you park there?
And you've a smart number plate.
No. Mine was the only Grenadier I saw in England (I spotted 3 in Scotland, next to really many old and new Defenders, though). Was the prototype still parked there?
Did I understand Google Translate well, that you put some stickers looking like bullet holes on damage that you caused to you car?

I think you enjoyed the lunchSo today I attended the Goodwood Members Open Day, surprisingly we had been accepted for display so had a very nice lunch in the house. Grenadier attracted a surprising amount of attention!

In England we had B&B with a family who owns pre-war racing cars and races at Goodwood. Great cars. Ok, the Grandier is not bad either. So today I attended the Goodwood Members Open Day, surprisingly we had been accepted for display so had a very nice lunch in the house. It is a hunting car …Did I understand Google Translate well, that you put some stickers looking like bullet holes on damage that you caused to you car? :unsicher:
Would turning on the wading mode not help, it will disable DPF/GPF regeneration and engine fans --> only the engine needs to be on but maybe this can be tricked by the turning it off and turning it on again quickly like the trick for the winch to work with out engine on.Exactly my observation as well.
My guess is that this is due to a DPF cleaning cycle. In that case, switching off the fan(s) with some trick might be a bad idea.
When I came home from an event at 2 o'clock nighttime, it was a real pain. I parked my car on the driveway and it made a noise like a starting F4. It's a residential area so my neighbors will not be amused if this happens again and again.
There should be a setting to stop PDF cleaning cycles from being carried out within a definable time slot like e.g. 22:00 - 7:00 o'clock.
And how did the Grenadier do on that climb out of the water?
Thanks for pointing that out and well done. Though, to be fair to the other rigs, the water shed from your Gren made what was a soft dirt exit a mud exit.It handled the exit very well. If you check the video at 2:30 you will see the view through the windscreen as I exit. Only centre diff locked, and low range selected.
On another climb (not filmed) I lost traction half way up a loose, rocky incline. I stopped, engaged the rear locker, and continued up easily, proving that the lockers engage straight away.
Is that Donny Grey or Ink blackDid some optical "tuning".
The colour is deep red, the pic of the bonnet isn't good as the A has the same colour like the backdoor.
My goodness, I really need a better camera. It's Britannia blue.Is that Donny Grey or Ink black
