So what are we going to call a "group" of gathered "Gs"??
Lions - a Pride
Birds - a Flock
Cats - a Clowder
Dogs - a Pack
"Gs" - ????

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

I sat in it and pondered...

I suggested the Squadron and yes you could go down that track,
A Brigade of
A Marshal of
A Convoy of
Then there is the Expedition track
An Adventure of
An Escape of
Then let's think outside of the box
A Movement of
An Expression of
A Mod of
A Purpose of Grenadiers
And then the penny dropped, it's starring me in the face IMHO...almost all of us here on this forum have a Grenadier and have watched the beast evolve. Then pick our build, colour, and mods, then pay the money.

Then it happened, A Release of Grenadiers for the EU, UK, NZ, OZ, SA, USA, and so on.

For those who roped one in and tucked her under our arm and have learned to master this pussy cat if you wish or a mountain lion on steroids, they have given us A Release...Letting us get out there again in style and off the chain. Does it work or am I just dreaming? Happy motoring any which way.(y)

Fleet just makes me think of the enema brand…

Release brings on sexual connotations…

My mind is always along the edge of the gutter and tends to fall in on a frequent basis 😅

You chould find solace in a conventicle of Grenadiers!
On second thoughts that would be better for the Grenadier Arcane owners.

The ABNTR4X4 Rock Sliders were installed today. Very low profile these sliders. From the side they look like the standard under door trim. That mostly finishes the Grenadier build, except a few minor items.

I have removed the rear diesel tanks, so you can see the XSPEC Molle better than before. They will go back on shortly. It takes roughly two minutes to remove/install each tank.

Now preparing for a remote trip to try things out, in Channel Country, Outback Queensland.

2.2 metres clearance they said.
Lucky I closed the Safari windows and didn't try to drive any further forward.
This is a good reason to spec the Safari windows if you are ever going to park in an underground carpark
I stopped another guy in a 4wd with a roof rack on just in time.

4 days in Brisbane at the Mining Electrical Safety Conference.
Funny the Beast was packed a lot neater on the way there than for the trip home.
Everything fitted in though without having to fold the seats down.
Still room for more.
I did have to put my travel case on the back seat though.

Good products we use multi GPO & 3 phase power stands at work. Guessing QME next will be the next show.

Not so much what I did with, but for....

Ordered Eibach Euro-spec lift kit (the 30mm, with winch) because I noticed they're back in stock at Eibach. Part #: E30-34-001-02-22

https://eibach.com/search?q=ineos

Also, last week, I ordered the rear overhead cargo rack fold-down separator for my Bison-Gear rack and their roof mount cargo rack, since I already have their molle panels and theirs is likely the only rack that's compatible with the mounting setup.

Am in Romania, did some very nice off road tracks yesterday and today.

Got stuck today in some 15 m clay track and made 3 mistakes :
  1. Did not step out of my car to assess the situation: probably I could have done it assessing it previously.
  2. Did try to get out without my winch: shovel, channels for evacuation of water and mud, etc.
  3. Did use my winch and 30 meter extension, and everything went well untill I forgot to stop the winching: the soft shackle entered the winch outlet panel, or how do you call it? Winch not usable anymore. Everything stuck, no way to pull it out.
Lucky for me, the main job was done and I got out with all differential locks engaged.

To pull the shackle out, I had to tie it to a tree, and pulling it out with my car in reverse. Didn't succeed at once.

I will try to post some pictures, but the Internet is not very good here

I succeeded in uploading two pictures, slowly.

Although I have off-road experience, I am certainly not an expert.
And it is the first time I have a winch. It is therefore the very first time I really use a winch because I needed it.

I am travelling alone, even my partner isn't with me. I make mistakes, and I learn, I am not ashamed to share my mistakes

I enjoyed my day. I never was really nervous, but yes a little bit worried. And the day ended in a nice way: met a lovely Romanian family, and are staying alone in their second residence (Small but very decent) while they went back to the village at some kilometres from here. Bit before leaving, we ate together, drunk, chatted. His English was quite OK, her English basic, but fantastic people and nice teenagers kids (3)
