Wet feet

What seal - door seal (inner / outer) ? I am a bit confused because of pressure to glass.. - or do you mean another seal?
I believe that comment was related to the safari windows.

I think we are discussing 3 separate issues:

1. Safari windows - possible issues with outer sealing to glass;
2. Outer door seals - pulling away from door when door is opened and then door is closed with a deformed seal; and
3. @Jean Mercier's issue - water coming through top of bulkhead and possibly related to remedial work undertaken by dealer.

The list is growing - or is it the same - I an confused!

You all forget that everything about this car was built on purpose. The Grenadier has the drain holes on the bottom for a reason.

And now we know for which one.

a dealer last weak who told me that at specific parking position (more than 10 degrees to one side) they had a problem
10 degrees low front, aft, left or right?

Mine is parked like so, currently (although I think that this is less than 5 degrees). Sometimes front low, sometimes vice versus.:

So have we identified where its coming from?
To me it looks like two completely separate issues. one is water between the two door seals and the other is coming in through the air vent? @Jean Mercier

Yepp thank you for highlighting the topics.
Perhaps when such issues are postet there should be a little more structured.. (What, Where, Reason, Cause, Fix (if any)

Hmmm ... thanks for suggesting this, but no: it is one problem, difficult to explain, but I think (almost sure) the door seals are OK. But I will check next time it rains.

I am with the crowd that finds this type of issue a deal-breaker. It's just poor design and or construction. IG needs to get in front of it, explain it and fix it. That one shot of the water pouring from the door sill looked like the set of the Poseidon Adventure!

Just because it is so nice I tried the trick again…

No need for my video, yours is very nearly the identical amount I got with my RHD drivers door.

I assume that is your LHD drivers doors in that video bemax.

I have looked and cannot see any kinked or loose rubber all the way round the door. I suppose the next thing is going all over it in minute detail to see if there is a hole/split lurking somewhere.

No loose rubber on my drivers door neither. And you are of course right. It’s the drivers door of a LHD vehicle.

Has anyone with similar issues had the problem with the passenger side door? If not, what difference could there be?
