I'd be interested in a future batch or the forum shop availability.

Greeting All,

Many reports of Transfer Case Cables coming loose from the OEM bracket and rubbing against the driveshaft have been reported (In several cases leading to failure of the cables requiring replacement)

An aftermarket solution to this problem has emerged for those of us who live in the United States!

I am going to be initiating a group buy of these TRANSFER CASE CABLE BRACKETS. I have sourced a set of 20 from the manufacturer and will be collecting a list of 19 others who would like to take advantage (I am buying the first one ;))

My hope in doing this is to see how popular of an item these might be. If they prove to be a hot commodity, it might be possible to get these on the forum store.

You will need to source two bolts to affix the two pieces together (The manufacturer told me they used 316SS M4x12mm bolt and nyloc nut). The rest uses existing bolts and grommets.

I'll take on in the next go around. My cable was rubbing on the drive shaft coupling and nearly left me dead in the water in the middle of Death Valley

I hope someone from Ineos is reading this thread. It says something that so many new owners want to upgrade such a basic but vital component. How much would it cost them to upgrade such a component and then save on warranty claims because the existing push fit cable clamps are not upto scratch 🤔

I know my bracket is different from the plastic ones in earlier built models. My chassis is 7719.
