I think maybe it’s a relay for the winch? I think I saw that somewhere on here.. not sure. Just one more week and I can be behind the wheel! 🎉
that is my understanding as well. double whammy for me , hitch and winch both having 'issues' needing addressing beforehand. As much as I was hoping to get by Christmas, looking more doubtful as the communication from Ineos is less than stellar. I don't blame the dealers, they can only do what they can do, and if Ineos gives them :poop: / 🌈then the end user/customer should expect the same. Seems dealers rather say nothing than that they have Nothing to say.

Yep, still haven't figured out how to 'edit' a posted comment..

anywho, yes, from what heard the relay used can cause a fire hazard. Not being electrically inclined, I'll leave that to others decipher what that may mean.

I am build #9555. I am being told by Mossy Ineos Grenadier in San Diego, that they do not have any control over which trucks get delivered or when they will be delivered to the dealership.

*Update*
Relay fixed! Ready for pickup! So winch relay fix shouldn’t hold anyone’s order up for long.

My vehicle was on the Morning Chant. Its sitting in Port Hueneme right now. Order no. 9488. I've heard nothing new from my dealer, Rusnak.
Art - we haven't heard any details on your vehicle being released from port yet. We're expecting 15+ more vehicles to be released this week. As soon as we have those VINs, we'll let you know.

Better it stays at the dealer long enough to correct the speed and lane change warning systems which I understand will drive you insane very quickly...
Everybody rent a new Subaru for a week, we have a special name for our Ascent. This may help prepare new Grenadier owners as she constantly is providing feedback on our driving style.

The ADAS system sounds like all the joys of having a car full of 5 year olds asking you questions about EVERYTHING you drive by on the road....while on a week long road-trip...with a non-functioning radio....and a dog with the runs...

We just bought a new Forester Wilderness a week ago and love it... and, oddly, doesn't provide any feedback (lane keep assist stays off between ignition cycles, and other than the speed limit sign popping up, there's no audible warning)

Our 2020 Outback beeps all the time, but much more so when my wife drives. I guess it’s just trying to protect itself. But everything is able to be switched off should you choose.

But when you have it all on, it sounds like you just won at the casino slot machines. I do like the cross hairs that show up on the top center stack when eye sight acquires the car in front of you and then beeps to let you know it's in your sights. Things u entertain yourself with on I90 in the middle of Montana.

I was wondering if anyone has secured vehicle insurance for the Grenadier? Since the vehicle is brand new to the US, my State Farm agent said he has to request special approval. I was wondering if anyone ran into any issues? My agent said he doesn't foresee any issues but wanted to prepare just in case.

I would imagine everyone who has taken delivery has insurance :) With that being said, on the FB group one of the to-be owners was a State Farm agent who had a quote/coverage months ago just based on vehicle information

might want to do a search on 'insurance' as a few of us have posted on this with widely ranging pricing. I had same issue with it being so new, the insurance company not having any reference data to use (used weight, type of vehicle, etc)
