Americas United States Shipping Information (After the Fact)

What are the Santander rates you’re getting via Ineos if you don’t mind sharing?
I don’t have the best credit right now.. high 7s (took a huge ding buying a new house earlier this year and borrowing money to build a new garage) but with only $5k down they came back at 11.79% for 72 months! 🤯. Didn’t want to but probably gonna have to use Tacoma sale money as down payment.
I guess me hoping to get an early delivery is biting me in the ass before I could get my financial ducks in a row. 😭

One option - walk on this one - order what you want and you'll have it in the summer when rates should stabilize. 12% puts you underwater in value for a long time - nothing (car, house) is worth a rate like that

Don’t give up just yet. Go take a look at Pen Fed. There is still hope. If I can get a commercial loan at 7% ish for 72 months, then Santander simply is being greedy on your personal loan. Like grandpa used to say, “f**k’em”!!!

Got my VIN today! It's in production. I guess I'll figure out how to track the shipping once it leaves Europe. Wonder when that will be?
What is your preorder number? I’m 14,500

Still reaching out to local credit unions.. a couple of them asking for 30% down.. rates between 6-8%. Wells Fargo jumping on board as well but those rates probably won’t be good.

Sorry for flooding this thread with financing.. but probably a good idea for those in the shipping queue to start digging.

Keep us posted! United we all win!

Loans, just like anything else, need to be shopped around! Sharing the info makes us better at getting good loans/rates.

No worries - if we get bored about finance talk - someone will start a thread about steering feel - and we’ll all flock to it like bugs to a lightbulb….

Oh and finance guy was kind enough to send me a pic of my truck getting prepped for my handover.

Navy Federal has the best rate I've seen mentioned here. We got a pre-approval for $74900 at 5.29% for 72 months. https://www.navyfederal.org/loans-cards/auto-loans/auto-rates.html#rates

You mean you didn't cancel your order because some auto journo or random guy on the internet complained about the turning circle?!?!?!

Literally just got a navy federal account to take advantage of the rates… now back to talking about shipping, insurance, door seals, and other gripes.
