Tech Specs

Side tip over angle varies with accessories, load etc which all impact centre of gravity.
Extra battery heavier spare tyre, roof rack all lift centre of gravity.
I assume gadeability below means front to rear not tip over side to side

I guess the problem we are having with the specifications is that they released so many hints before launch and also a lot of them were taken from the drivers at the demo days quoting off the top of their heads.
Plus a lot of guessing and supposition by us.
Normally it would have just been a fait accompli and the vehicle would have been launched with a "this is what you are getting" result.

I believe that was originally going to be outside but they moved it inside.

I’m in the US and can’t spec anything but went through the UK spec sheet. Getting up there in price pretty quickly. $90k is no joke

I don't think the UK prices translate over. The Australian prices are cheaper when convert to USD

wheres the link for Australian? I only saw UK and South African. South African was much more. Why wouldn’t UK pricing translate?

It’s not fair the diesel is the same cost as the Petro model. Should be at least a $3k difference. I wish I could have the diesel.

Any idea what the two different winch options mean? Fully integrated HD 5.5T vs Removable 3.5T tow mountable? Is it two different front configs or is the removable one for a rear winch?

Also, no mention of the 400W/ 2000W inverter which was spoken about in the 2B prototype tour

Yes Gradeability is the front to rear and specifically 45 degrees is a 1:1 climb-ability. At a steeper angle the front might get lighter and loose traction. Even this spec is subject to loading front to back.
The side tip over angle is likewise very dependent on all the other crap we add like roof rack, fuel up top etc. However a factory spec number is a good barometer of understanding how much a stock vehicle can lean before tipping sideways. Which is a very relevant use case when we are off roading. I have an analog inclinometer stuck on my windshield to just give me a sense of what degree I am leaning at.
To my knowledge only two companies publish this number. Mercedes for the G and Toyota for the Land Cruiser.

I snapped pics of the light bar with and without the roof rack. Obviously one looks better. ?

I haven't seen what the speed rating is on the BF Goodrich K02 tyres but I am guessing they are either 160 or 190 kmh max which could possibly be why they have a 160kmh speed limiter on the vehicle.
I also think that as you go over 120kmh trying to push this large square block through the air would be the same as punching a hole in your fuel tank.
Even Brembo brakes would struggle with a few heavy stops at 150kmh +

Almost three tons at 180 Km/h is a hazardous missile ...

This is great news for the petrol engine MPG. If 1 imperial gallon is equal to 1.2 US gallons that means it’ll get 22.2 - 25.68 miles per 1 US gallon, no? If so that’s better than my F-150 4x4 with 3.5L EcoBoost, and _way_ better than my LR4 with 5.0L V8.

21.9 imperial MPG is 18.2 US MPG
Gallons are smaller in the US......even in Texas.....so you don't go as far.
Litres on the other hand are the same no matter which country you are in

Right. I had it backwards. So for some reason the 3L V6 Grenadier is going to get similar MPG to my nearly 10 year old 5L V8?

This is making the 2023 Toyota Sequoia look more attractive.
