I know this is the waffle thread ani I am going to comment on my Grenadier but I don't want to get into a back and forth of who is right or wrong.
Did 1200 miles last week, 900 in 2-3 days. My vehicle is a UK RHD with the large footrest hump. Vehicle had done over 14,000 miles when I set off.I have my seat high and set back as far as I can reach the steering wheel.
I was comfortable all the way
The steering is easy and normal to use after owning and driving the vehicle regularly. I can drive 1 handed with arm on door top.
Gentle acceleration from a corner and the steering will self right to a degree.
Drove in some horrendous rain and felt solid and secure.
Vehicle is happy at 50 or 70mph but I do find it drive slower than other vehicles which in UK obsessed speed cameras, is a good thing.
What i am saying is, I don't agree with all the ergonomic complaints as it is something that requires your time to understand and in my view better for it. We have a few vehicles and I can jump in any and back to the Grenadier without any adjustment, it's all natural after time.
Vehicles we have to learn to understand and drive give far more involvement and therefore respect and love. Mine is for the longterm until we cannot get fuel in UK or prohibitively expensive.

And so, the length of this post now fits the waffle thread title

We should also move the gun debate over here as that's quite interesting but ruining the joke thread
Cor - I agree with every word! Couldn't have put it better myself; how refreshing after all the negative posts :)

The RHD pedal position is slightly annoying.
What is more annoying is the amount of mud in the footwells. I seriously think the designers got it wrong. No way a £75k luxury SUV should get mud all over the floor and pedals.

Yes, I agree. Those stupid drain plugs under the plastic floor. They let all the mud and water out!

On my day off today, this come up on You Tube from the China Observer about near new cars being banned from the road for OBD issues. Honestly, I do not know if it is true or media sensationalism but these days it seems the only thing needed is a thought seed to be placed into the woke or into the government and the next thing is we have new rules, legislation, charges and taxes. If this article is credible how is an Ineos going to fare in China?

I believe the OBD test is only on emissions related fault codes.

Chinese economy is faltering and the government is proping it up. Probably a way to force people to spend money in the guise of being green. They are also more likely to buy home built electric vehicles as they are cheaper than imported, again helping the Chinese economy.

Wait till leaders of Western countries try using this playbook to push their agenda.
