Sick of waiting

But my dealer did nothing to get my business, and they are doing nothing to show they value my business.

My thoughts exactly.

They could at least make contact once a month to touch base, confirm to me they know I exist and give me confidence that they are on top of things.

I have even suggested this, and the hint was not taken, another month went by before I contacted them again to see if there were any updates.
I know they are also frustrated, but a bit of proactive communication would greatly reduce my frustration.
It seems every time I reach out the news back is another delay……

I've been told my vehicle is 'awaiting production this month'. No contract yet though. 🤷 Ordered Feb. Doesn't line up (at all) with you guys that ordered 12+mths ago, are stiil awaiting production and signed contracts months ago. Xmas delivery for me if I'm lucky I reckon.

I signed my contract last week and my dealer estimated 8 weeks from Contact Sign - Arrival at the dealer.
Fyi I signed my contract 26 Apr. Car now at dealer. I would imagine they are getting more efficient.

In Australia you can be done for 3km over any day of the week [I know all about it!!!]. I'm sick of waiting that's for sure - I'm still waiting on any formal advice regarding build date or delivery ETA or anything really. Why can't IA give our agents a proper guide on timing?
I appreciate the functionality of the waze app that can be programmed to warn you from speeding with your own settings (e.g. 5 % or 3 km/h)
This is really helpful as it showed me that I was faster than I intended many times yet.

8 weeks after going into production. People have signed their contract a few months ago and it still hasn't gone into production. Hambach shuts down for 2 weeks summer break. So I can't see mine being September but my dealer is confident I'll get it this year 2023. Me I'm not so sure

Hi Eric,
When did you sign your contract?

After one month of hearing nothing, I decided it was time to call my agent (Matzker) again.
The good news, my car is still there.
The bad news, it will take some more time to sort things out.
Now they are waiting for some brake pipe clamps to be delivered by IA,
and waiting for clearance to make a test drive to check the transfer box, or for a replacement box.
And of course waiting for the software update.
Rocksliders have been delivered but, they don't know yet if they fit.

I may go and see the car with my own eyes next week.
Maybe I will get a longest waiting award?

Have a nice day, Fabio

Hi Eric,
When did you sign your contract?
Begining of July, a whole batch went out at this time. Yesterday my dealer checked his portal and was just contract signed status, not in production. We are included in this years allocation and this years allocation is now closed. Any order now is new year delivery. I'm taking the philosophical view that the longer it takes to go in build the more software updates and remedial works to correct known faults will be incorporated.
