This is a good test drive by these three young metrosexuals.
I noticed the instructor gets them to put it in off road mode straight up.
After that he seems to have absolutely no problem selecting diff locks and he has no stray bings or bongs.
Clearly the guys offroad driving experience/skills are limited after the first guy, with the last guy having virtually none and slightly terrified.
A pretty simple course but probably as hard as at least 60% of owners are ever going to do.

If our motors all work that well when delivered we will be happy campers. Speaking of camp they were a strange bunch of lads, must have got a three for one deal on those sunglasses.

RACQ on the left and APIA (Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency on the right
We have 2 cars & 2 houses insured with Apia.
I will be going with them.
My wife is retired and we are over 55 so qualify for pensioners insurance
Has anyone had experience with Apia? They seem to be very competitive but the only thing that worries me is they do seem to get a lot of bad reviews for comprehensive vehicle insurance, not that you can believe all reviews. Also, are they sound if need to claim for something that happened on an outback track? It’s such a pain searching for insurance, but a ‘must have’.

Not surprising. Old people have plenty of spare time to complain. 😜

Brutal and true.
Read the small print when sent an insurance proposal. And ask directly re specific clauses/exclusions eg remote travel/ recovery.
And there is a grey nomad forum in Australia where old folk can whinge about everything. I had a quick peak and thought nah, that's not for me.

8 weeks after going into production. People have signed their contract a few months ago and it still hasn't gone into production. Hambach shuts down for 2 weeks summer break. So I can't see mine being September but my dealer is confident I'll get it this year 2023. Me I'm not so sure
Ours arrived at the Agent yesterday, out of the blue. Nothing from Ineos to confirm it had left Hambach but the agent knew it had been built and was in transit. Just over three months from contract to arrival at Agent. Delivery September - our choice.

I had a chat with Matzker (Krueger) today, they had promised to send the car’s papers so I can register it.
To my surprise he said the car may be ready in two weeks time.
They have ordered a new tranny, but don't know yet if it needs one.

Maybe the end of my long time waiting will come soon 🤞🏾

There are multiple meanings I’m sure, it I believe he means transmission.
🤣 I think he meant transmission, but by that I think he really meant transfer case. Fairly sure he didn’t mean ……… but 🤷‍♂️

Ordered in June 22, signed the contract in March 23 and the car arrived at my dealer mid of June 23.
Since I signed my contract no communication from INEOS, pretty sad.

My dealer told me, that there is (among others) a problem with my axels, which leads to a delivery hold. But the main issue in my oppinion is, that my dealer wants to repair, finish an deliver the car, but he also does not get any information or spare parts from INEOS.

Slowly but surely I am getting tired of this.

Can you ask the dealer for details of this problem?
