Sick of waiting

Always wise to keep receipts, depending on one’s occupation they may be tax deductible.

As I've waited I have found that impatience has allowed my eye to wander. A few days ago I talked to a Chevy dealer to ask about C8 Corvette wait times for orders or dealer allocations. I guess I was looking for some reassurance that the Grenadier wait was not nearly as long as those waiting for a new 'Vette. The typical answer was a six month wait for an allocation that might cost you several thousand over MSRP, and 12-18 months for a new order. Well, one of the dealers called back the next day saying a customer ordered car became available when the guy backed out, and would I like to buy it for $1500 over MSRP. I left work right away and had it in my garage in 2 hours. So I'm bowing out on the Grenadier for now.

Another example of the risk in embarking on a "Long distance" relationship when suddenly an attractive proposition crosses one's path😎

Am sure you'll enjoy the Chev. A wonderful "early Sunday morning " motivator to go for a drive, because you can!!

So as we are comparing pricing of vehicles throughout different world markets, how much is that thing in the USA. A quick check here puts it around the $280,000AUD mark. Thats around $190,000 USD converted in dollar terms and as in which side of the car the steering wheel is on.

Yeah, it’s the polar opposite to the Grenadier but it’s easier to find pavement, harder to find rugged topography in suburban Dallas, so probably a better fit until I retire to the mountains.

It was ~$75,000 (2LT trim level) before tax, title, and license fees. Steering is on the right.

Well done , as long as the wife's happy - and keep the shiny side up!
