Sick of waiting

For any Australians who are sick of waiting and would like to take immediate delivery of a Trialmaster please reach out. I am no longer in a position to complete the deal on my Grenadier. It is currently sitting on the agent's showroom floor. I have reached out to Ineos Automotive requesting a refund but have not heard anything from them. I figured that in the meantime if anyone wants to grab a vehicle at less than the current listed price I would be able to complete the sale and immediately on sell. I am doing this simply because I am not sure how long Ineos will take to return my deposit and cancel the order.

You will have no issues selling that on straight away and best of luck with future vehicle endeavors. A shame you won't get to keep it longer!

Maybe don’t be tempted to take it for “just one little drive” between collection then handover to the new owner. It might wreck your plans. Kind of like stories of surrogate mothers handing over their newborns.

Why would they return the deposit if you changed your mind?

I've watched it many thousands of times 😁
Must be why it is now over 32,000 views.

Yes I watch it multiple times every day. On the bus , in the toilet , in the shower , at the TAB , down the pub, on my run....

That is a new one isn't it - anyone else had axles noted as a fault prior to delivery???

Yeah, I guess it is a new "issue" with the Grenadier.
My dealer (Matzker) told me, that it was first time they heard from axle issues and such a concrete delivery hold.

I wrote INEOS because of my car, but the only answer was "we're sorry" and "ask your dealer, he knows whats going on". 🤷‍♂️

My car has arrived at the dealer last week and I received a cash call yesterday. Now we‘re all waiting for the paperwork of which nobody can tell when it will arrive.

I'll be waiting a little longer.
Yesterday I asked Matzker about the car papers, the answer was

Hallo liebes Ehepaar Goldenbeld,

Hello dear Goldenbeld couple,

INEOS really demands all our strength.
We have to be strong now!
I can now finally inform you that your vehicle needs a new transfer case!

We have now received the information yesterday that we have to exchange the transfer case!

Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the delivery time yet.

As soon as there is light at the end of the tunnel, I will contact you.”

I thought Ineos issued a bulletin to all agents/dealers at least a month ago, detailing by VIN all those that needed changing?

Is there a way to block posts with pictures of Eldoret blue? Every time one gets posted I question my color choice.
Isn’t it funny how different people have different preferences. Eldoret blue would be my absolute last choice of colour. I suppose difference is good, otherwise life would be a bit boring.

From this I can summarise: if there is light at the end of the transmission tunnel, either
1. The transfer case has dropped off or
2. The transfer case is being replaced

Saw one in the flesh with white roof. The blue tames right down on a sunny day. I've gone the Shroom but I could easily live with EB, if I had to. 😉
Thought about the blue but wondered if I'd be seen on a blue sky day when overtaking a truck?
Then again if the sky is mushroom coloured I'll be f..ked!

The most common color seems to be dark grey here in Seattle, which makes the endemic lack of turning lights on in the rain incredibly annoying.

Those who speccing a pink Grenadier should feel safe...except on some summer evenings.
And they are safe from car thieves!
