I echo those comments. Picked mine up last week. Now sitting on a weekend break enjoying the view.To all of you who are "Sick of waiting." You were supporting me while I've been frustrated during the last weeks. Finally now I got my car handed over and I wanted to be fair to give you an update on my first and lasting impression. I love it! I know it takes a long time and Ineos really has a serious problem with communicating with their customers, but for all of you still waiting I hope things will improve with every car delivered!

No longer sick of waiting but Ineos really have sucked most of the joy out of the purchasing process. However the vehicle is good with no bongles, warnings or other issues.
First tank of fuel used. Onwards and upwards!

I used to always feel the speed and never really had to glance at the speedo. But that doesn’t work with all cars. Since I had to return my current leased car now before the IG was (is) here, I borrowed a friend’s car to fill the gap. That is an E 63 S. Before you feel anything you’re already going 200km/h. First time I really appreciate the HUD and the fact that the car warns me discretely when I am speeding.I can judge my speed by the seat of my pants. And thus never have to glance down , I find that has kept me accident free for 43 years.
That will never work.
My very first car was a Mini Cooper S that was an ex NSW Police highway patrol vehicle.Would buy a Cooper S tomorrow if still in production.
Not sure who your agent is but mine gets weekly updates from Ineos on all customer vehicle orders through their dealership. In Australia you can be done for 3km over any day of the week [I know all about it!!!]. I'm sick of waiting that's for sure - I'm still waiting on any formal advice regarding build date or delivery ETA or anything really. Why can't IA give our agents a proper guide on timing?
Or the Gnashing Teeth thread, Very old school mechanical.Sick of wailing...do we need a name change?
I'll hit them up tomorrow via email. See if I can get something in writing. Not sure who your agent is but mine gets weekly updates from Ineos on all customer vehicle orders through their dealership.
I just sent him an email asking for an update on my vehicle.
He replied in a few minutes advising mine was still sitting at the export dock but had not been allocated to a vessel yet.
Of course there will be large jumps in information availability depending on what stage you are at
The first real traceable point is when you receive the contract to sign.
I received the contract direct from Ineos on 27th April
I signed and emailed it back straightaway and received confirmation
24th May I received an email from Ineos advising my vehicle had gone into production
24th May I received an email from Ineos telling me to log into my Ineos account or contact my dealer to update my payment method.
27th June my dealer advised that my vehicle was finished, at the export dock and waiting for vessel allocation.
10th July today update is above.
Unfortunately until you receive the contract there is no traceable information as you haven't actually legally ordered a vehicle.
Not before I am cured.Sick of wailing...do we need a name change?
Sounds promising, Ineos might be running updated software in more recent builds. Please keep us posted if things change.. However the vehicle is good with no bongles, warnings or other issues.

That would be great is later batches got new software before sending out the gate... tried and tested at least would help.Sounds promising, Ineos might be running updated software in more recent builds. Please keep us posted if things change.
the trolling is strong with this one....You seem to hang on my comments waiting to 'respond' - it is cute. HUDs are safer - yes.. Like I said, this is 'my reason', and you need to read in context that it is my point of view and is therefore entirely valid to myself (and maybe others). You can try and 'shut down' valid concerns of prospective owners all you like - that would be the childish thing to do after all.
I think you have the most pro-active agent in AustraliaNot sure who your agent is but mine gets weekly updates from Ineos on all customer vehicle orders through their dealership.
