I got the same at 11:16am . I had also called them and Ineos yesterday + again today they both had no idea where the car is and timescale. the Problem is I go away for 6 weeks in a months time, so I am reluctant to pay until I know when for sure.Just received a payment request, also says;
"Not long now. Your Grenadier has left the factory and is on the way to your Retail Partner."
then goes on to say pay now "...so we can deliver your Grenadier on time....."
hahahahaha!!!
After yesterday's chat saying it was waiting production who knows whats the status.
Think I'll wait for Jardines to confirm arrival and in what form it is in before releasing the bread.
My Vin was on the invoice, + I had got it form Ineos 2 weeks ago anyway.That's what I did. I know others have paid and had no problems, but they have had to wait weeks before the vehicle arrives at the agent. It took 4 weeks to be delivered and 10 days to be ready for the road after paying for it.
GETTING CLOSER - PLUS I WOULD HOPE THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UPDATED TOO!
NB: VIN was supplied separately. Registration after payment. PDI after payment. Payment receipt from INEOS took 5 working days.
Yes VIN was on invoice and I checked it on the vehicle at the dealers before I made payment.Can I ask those that have paid di your request for payment .pdf have your vehicle's VIN on it because mine is blank.
I thought contracts went out before production?Just in case anyone should be wondering: I‘m still waiting (and still sick of it). But I have learned that my vehicle has left production and is waiting for post production inspection. Now my biggest fear is that things will be delayed because I still haven’t seen a contract…
Not denying the fact at all, just saying I had a message from INEOS separately with the VIN. I also received the Registration document as mentioned above, before the vehicle had been PDi'd.My Vin was on the invoice, + I had got it form Ineos 2 weeks ago anyway.
Would make sense. But my first (wrongly configured) car had also been produced even though I had never signed the (wrong) contract…I thought contracts went out before production?
I did a £1 transfer then called Ineos to confirm it had arrived. Guy on the phone said he would ask accounts. They sent email confirmation a day later. I then transferred the remainder and they again confirmed a couple of days later.Are people checking the bank details verbally via agent and the Ineos Auto customer service?
That's a damn fine idea. I'm greatly surprised that Ineos managed to go into that 'depth' of service.I did a £1 transfer then called Ineos to confirm it had arrived. Dear TD5-90 - I was just going through the Forum-posts regarding problems to deal with my frustration. My car is sitting now for five weeks at the dealership and was supposed to be handed over to me last week. Now they informed me that there is a problem with the transfer case - which must be changed. The mechanics said that there is a noise above 80 km/h that indicates an issue with the transfer case. Now I am very curious on how fast Ineos will react because the car is fully paid since 6 weeks and has license plates for 2 weeks. Even the car tax has been issued to me and now again a delay of x-days or weeks ... This car really challenges my nerves!Wonder if anyone knows something more specific on that "transfer case issue". Sounds _much_more_ severe than the other hardware issues before (twisted brake line, steering pipe, clips and other minor stuff).
What is the actual problem? Does it mean that some tranfer cases have to be replaced at the dealers?? How do the Ineos field service mechanics check the transfer box? Is it just a subjective opinion of a field service technician if a transfer box is "good"?
Again, to me this sounds like there is the first _real_ problem....
If Ineos had the intelligence to do this I’d probably have my deposit back now.I did a £1 transfer then called Ineos to confirm it had arrived. Guy on the phone said he would ask accounts. They sent email confirmation a day later. I then transferred the remainder and they again confirmed a couple of days later.
