Sick of waiting

Customer service. Not much point in contacting them, go straight to your dealer, I will speak to them tomorrow and see if they can extract any thing from Ineos
Reservation made 30 September 2021, Ordered 18 May 2022. I should be one of the first, I suspect it is made and being stored in a field somewhere waiting bits.

INEOS Grenadier Customer Service

Didn’t someone here posted the most important parts as a row of screenshots?
The reason the Ineos video was deleted was because it's not 100% accurate. For example we now know that you don't need to stop to lock the centre diff. So the screenshots are not all correct.

Brilliant post - facts not speculation.
To be fair, I think various posts in this forum have got us pretty much to the same position.

With regard to what he's actually said:
  • I saw the Facebook comments and can dispel the mentions around registration system, N1 etc. We do have the DVLA’s automated reg system which is called RAV and it’s been used for all handovers thus far.
So that's a total of...one?
  • We did have a hold up on that so Chandlers and others were not wrong to tell customers that but it’s in good order now and we had the manual process prior to that which is actually quite fine anyway (Lotus use a version of the manual system, as an example).
Lotus run a collect from factory option on their new model, but most models will be delivered and registered by their dealer network using the online service. I'm not sure how many vehicles Lotus itself registered using the manual system by total Lotus registrations for the last 12 months amount to a grand total of 199 vehicles. I doubt Lotus registered a third of those manually. It's clearly not the same if you were trying to register 6,000 per annum manually.

  • N1 classification is no issue whatsoever either; I saw that mentioned on Facebook as a possible issue.
Anyone got any info on what was being said?

  • You’re free to post everything I said, we’ve nothing to hide and are keen to try and talk to people directly as much where they want the conversation.
So has he offered an email or phone number for these conversations?

  • I’ve offered stuff like q&a’s etc to Steve Kettle previously as well.
Seems a little passive - couldn't he just jump in and introduce himself like Justin H did in Oz, or do some videos like Greg C in the US?

As Steve Kettle didn't take up the offer for his FB group maybe @Stu_Barnes can jump in and get something set up for him in this forum?

For a company using an agency model, they seem to not understand that the relationship they have expressly set up is directly with the customer!

I've got issues with their OTR cost build up, but have been referred to the agent as well!

Not on delivery as on inspection I wasn’t happy with what I saw (don’t want to publicly say as to give Ineos time to rectify), so I’d imagine that it’s now going to be quite some time sadly.
Why not tell this group what the issues are? It might help others who have the same issue and maybe not the same eagle eyes.

Isn't this exactly how a group like this can help each other; I'm sure you're benefiting from others input.

And even Ineos (Gary Pearson) have said "we’ve nothing to hide", so why not...

Compared to Toyota 7x series (not taking orders), Honda Civic TypeR (2 yr wait), Ford Bronco shortages thus bringing out the best of "unconscionable conduct" by numerous Ford US dealers as reported from multiple sources (incl on this forum), my view is that collectively "we" are in a far better situation

Here we have a vehicle built from scratch, not an evolution from an existing model using updated parts etc ... international supply chains everywhere are in a mess... early hand raisers were exempted from later hefty price rises which means that "our" early batch vehicles immediately increased in value; (unlike other makes where having taken a sizeable, non refundable deposit the sale price for the hapless purchaser has, nevertheless, increased several thousand dollars !)
The vehicle "exists", from all accounts it operates as designed/promised, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Mine is apparently built and waiting to be "allocated" to a ship ...= another 3 months.
I can live with that...

As the man once said "Cheer up, things could be worse!" So I cheered up and sure enough they were! :ROFLMAO:
