Hi Simon, what brand are your drawers (can’t read on my phone), how deep are they, and is there any space between the back of the drawers and the rear seats?
Thanks.
Hi Bigleonski - Local mob here in Melbourne called RV Storage Solutions. They have nailed the instal and I couldn't be happier. Biggest thing for me was the weight. The drawer system is only 46kgs (hopefully I got that right).

Oh and sorry forgot the second part of your question. There is bugger all space between the rear seats and drawers - they maximised it. At best I can squeeze my hand behind.

Thanks Simon, I’ll look online. Were they custom or do they do an Ineos one.

What is the depth of them mate? Height and width would be handy, but main question is depth.

Awesome - thanks.

Could you please share a link on how to purchase the vanity mirror?
I found this link to the mirror on the mudstuff site. You can buy a left or right one or both....DaBull

Added a storage bag in the rear. It has Velcro strips that stick to the plastic trim and sticks it in place. Works really well. Time will tell on if it stays “stuck”. The tie down rings are still accessible. Bought it on Amazon for $70USD.

Also added a little pouch to the left of the steering wheel so I have a place to put my phone. I like the location. It’s also stuck in place with some adhesive Velcro strips. With Apple car play I can do all I need wirelessly with Siri. $30 bucks there….

Finally, blacked out the yellow airbag lights behind my wolfbox mirror with a piece of electrical tape. That costed $0 and is no longer a distraction :)

Convenient pouch by the driver's knee there, @Asnes but I think (?) the knee airbag module may be hiding behind that panel. When that sucker deploys, the metal knife and flashlight could become projectiles. o_O I am not certain of this but I mention it just in case. ;)

I really dig the pouches in the back to take up that space under the windows. (y)

It’s all good. :) There are no knee airbags in this vehicle.

There are 6 airbags… 2 Front airbags for driver and passenger - 2 Side airbags in front seats - 2 Curtain airbags extending along the roofline.

Also as evidenced by the reverse side of the lower dash trim…. No airbag behind this panel, which is where the little pouch is stuck to.

Awesome. Good to know. I shall steal your pouch innovation when my vehicle arrives. :)

You actually have a vehicle so I'll trust reality and your photos! I was misled by reading the US/Canada Owner's Manual (what else to do while awaiting vehicle delivery, lol) and it tells me:
  • Dual stage driver and passenger airbags.
  • Curtain airbags on both sides of the vehicle.
  • Thorax airbags both sides of the vehicle (Driver and front passenger only).
  • Knee airbags (Driver and front passenger only).

Thank you for this! Well now I to investigate.

The photo I posted was from Jean Mercier which I found on the forum… I was going by that plus marketing content regarding airbags (including this link posted by a CA dealer: https://www.sierraineosgrenadier.com/ineos-grenadier-safety-innovations-irvines-trusted-dealer/)

As you duly noted, US specification vehicles are indeed different per the US owners manual.

Given your feedback I went into the garage to investigate :)

Here is a photo of the knee airbag module in the US version vehicle. The module seems to blow out the lower part of the dash trim, below the pouch that I mounted.

I think I will take your advice and move the head Swiss Army knife and flashlight elsewhere. I’ll hedge my bets with the phone :)

Thank you for your astute observation and knowledge of the US owners manual.

There are knee airbags. I had my dash apart and the lowest trim that goes all the way across contains them. Your pouch is above it and may be ok.
