rattle in LHD drive side

new IG with less than 300 miles.

Driving over washboard road at speeds of around 20-25mph results in a metallic / hollow sounding rattle above the driver-side footwell region. Driving at any speeds on pavement does not trigger this rattle.

Anyone else experience something similar?

One possibility is the heat shields rattling under the car. My rattles were intermittent and unpredictable. Three of my heat shields were readjusted and the rattle disappeared. Your description is close to the rattle my heat shields caused.

I also found my jack loose in the rear quarter and tightened it as well.

You just need to work your way through the possibilities.

Where are these heat shields? In the engine compartment or under the vehicle?

I do also have heavy metal clunk in the back going over these washboard roads

Down under the vehicle along the left side. The dealer fixed it and did not say exactly where.

That heavy clunk maybe a loose jack.

Take a close look at the areas in the photo. I bent my sheet metal back then. It's been quiet ever since.

So where are all the first impressions? (right here)

If you have a 3-5 stage charger maybe give it about 6hrs to fully bring the battery to foat, it will also get rid of any sulphation that may have built up on the plates in the batch & hold period. You can use the pos & neg posts under the bonnet. Be interesting to see if that makes any...
